One question:


Can one use ships not of an established Sci-fi universe...but still fully described by another player?

The method would be to describe the appearance and inherent tech on the ship, with references to established sci-fi sources for comparability.


(for example, I would like to be a weapons dealer and would like to make vessels and/or ship upgrades for all players, using a clearly explained system...like the one that follows)


Kirhean Warhawk (dedicated Light Armor/Heavy Firepower Anti-dreadnaught cruiser)(2 ship points)
Weaponry: 2 Plasmoid Anti-matter Cannons, wing mounted, (effective lvl=turbolaser battery)
4 Anti-matter fusion torpedo bays, (effective lvl=Antimatter enhanced Photon Torpedo{Star Trek})

Armor: Type-1 Duranium plate double hull, forward Trinium Armor overlay

Shields: Type-3 Gravometric Distortion Field Generator(star trek shields equivalent lvl-Enterprise NCC-1701/C), Secondary: Type-1 Electro-Magnetic negation Shields (only effective vs Energy based weaponry, similar to charged hull plating of Enterprise NX-01)

Generator: Mark 4 Neutron/Neutrino Singularity collider, (effective lvl-2x Enterprise NCC=1701/D Energy Production)

Sublight Drives: 3 K3/44 Mass Drive Anti-grav thrusters, max speed = 96.75488%C, Acceleration = ~73.225% at 3Gs in 1.5 sec
FTL: 1 Koccher & Hochn C114 Hyperspace Generator, max speed = ~5,200,000C


Description: A lightly armored, heavily armed, Medium Tonnage Vessel. Long Hull, with sloped Beaklike Prow, Sweeping Wings bear weapons pods at the ends for the Main Cannons.

Vessel is Heavily dependent on speed and manuverability to escape the questing gun emplacements of it's prey, somewhat compensates for lack of physical armor with secondary shields designed to read and adapt to incoming energy weapons fire, emitting electromagnetic radiation on a frequency that directly interferes with, and counters the frequency of the incoming attack. Secondary Shields are ineffective vs matter based weapons, including but not imited to, Particle Beam lasers...it takes a bite out of the damage...but cannot stop the high energy particles themselves

yes usul, you can. so long as all their special abilities are listed, and they fall into my class system.(it's supposed to be simpleish)

the weaponry power is balanced for purpose of cross universe ships :wink:

all special abilities are standard on the ship class, unless listed as your one ship upgrade. and the ship upgrade has to be listed when the event starts, or added mid-round as part of a refit.
