went with option 2, thoug like brdavs said..
it would probably be better renamed.. a bunch of decent ppl and some realy messed up asses..
cause honestly.. thats what evry alliance is nowadays
i doubt you can show one pure good, or one pure evil place , jing and jang do battle within evry1 of us

although i dislike TLE as an empire,
i can't say i dislike any of their members though..

all i've dealt with have been mostly polite and normally very helpful

I went number 2, for the most part I like the people in TLE during our war there was one person that was rude in PMs to me but cannot remember whom it was. For the most part they are respectful, of course every empire has to have an ass or three.

They are bullies, massing can always be used as an argument or at least a form of persuasion to see things how they want you to see.

Meh... I think I'd have chosen the last option if I hadn't known SB and Madcat, and had a few TLEers on MSN
But on a serious note... one of the reasons why I even started to doubt between the chosen option and the last option, was because of that massing on Thors's Chariot which seemed very unprovoked to me and the some of the targets that The Educators choose

k id like to clear up some stuff

1) (EAM i unbanned you)
2) Pre TL people were asked to build, people did this in different way...... some raided eg extremer and svarun. and then there was blahh he did a mix... of raiding and farming, i remember him hitting me twice a week just beofre i woke up. Now suddenly bam you have the server war... and then the war.
Now after the war when i joined TL, there was a lot of discussion. There were huge huge huge arguments people swore at each other, people left the alliance ingame etc etc. On at least 1 occasion the reason they came back was after listening to someone else saying i quote 'this is bigger then us, were here for the community'. Some people wanted to do turtle style, and some people wanted to farm. In the end a mix was found in saying if someones farming you, you can mass him and the alliance will not people who are doing occasional naq hits. We publisced this alot, but people just saw us farming and ignored this and we were from that day labled evil. I remember one such instance at the time of a post of which alliances are which. I think DB made the thread. TL were called evil by alot of people simply cos lan and blahh farmed. At the same time a TL guy got hit for 250b which then was a hella lot of naq equiv to 2t. He got a pm of congrats. A DD guy got hit by the same guy for 300b and got a omg send it back or ill kill you, and DD were portrayed as the angels). I remember laughing and knowing from that instance whatever we did we would be called evil. Now me from when i hit 150k was massing, with the n00b_hunters. For me sitting and growing into a turtle wasnt something i could do, so i massed people that sent me and friends rude pms, or came on irc and swore etc. Me and Blahh massed people who were often in logs or who sent rude pms etc, we occasionaly did hired massings. Every massing had to be authorised by the HC. Then came the time when FOE merged with TLE, this caused serious problems as earlier there was a equal ying and yang. FOE were peaceful and this resulted in a questioning of policy. The breaking point came during a raid, a friend of mine massed a 200b def for 500kuu (she had strike planets and lost 200k) raiding at those times 400 a hit was profitable, so this was a huge profit. After the raid had happened there was a huge arguement on msn and it was stated by someone you shouldnt be here. A lot of people had strong views and the result was the formation of TDL. In those times we were not overtly agressive, problems came due to the zion war.

Before this point the view of the general sgw community had been of the upmost important, i will tell you it no longer is. And the general TLE populace and upper echelon realised something Whatever you do, no matter what you try- if your big you will be disliked we had tried damn hard with policies to appease people. But at the end of the day we had a whole coalition trying to take us down. It reminded me of a post ETL made up until this point weve tried hard being nice, but now well become what you make us out to be. Since the end of this war we have been building a family unit, and pretty much doing what we like and been far far more agressive, people now can do what they like, as weve given up with the SGW community, its dawned on us alliance policy or fact do not actually change peoples perception, its more people on msn listening to friends 'blahh and zesh massed me' and missing out the 'i swore at them and sent them rude pms'. The fact i get blamed for everything has actually developed into a 'meme' (for those of you who know what that means) or a funny ironic phrase for those of you that dont.

To someup essentially if you wanted us to be stat turtles, 50% of us would not be playing at this time? Which would hurt the sgw community more?
3) We were never made to be an anti FUALL force
4) We are players too- dont we have a right to play?
5) TDL are not in anyway led or politically dicated to by TL. TDL are TDL.
