The names of things are changed due to latest research and guidelines and is usually because we develop a greater understanding that leads to another name being more appropriate 8)

I think roll play is therapeutic as you can use emotions and do things you may not do in RL because its wrong  There are many people I would love to kill and can't :?

I have to be nice all day at work and coming home, killing peoples armys and giving them loads of verbal helps me unwind

So just prey I don't have a really really bad day, cos I may try and mass the server :-D

I say we have Conscience DID while roleplaying. That statement of mine is a contradiction but I still stand by it. We conscientiously make the effort to be someone else.

Now with that in mind are there people who actually suffer from DID?
In a world of online role playing games that would be a hard question to answer. Since we do not have the observation of the subject necessary to determine who suffers and who does not it would be hard to determine.

Role playing is not a form of DID however in a small way it resembles it. Good role players have a whole different personality while role playing. Is it uncontrollable? In most it is controllable, in some it may not be. In end no conclusive answer can be determined, all that we can do is speculate.

Lets just say role playing is
Conscientiously crazy
