I could see myself eating a few hard boiled eggs... Its probably healthier for you than all the chocolate anyway.

I dunno, eggs have epic cholesterol ;)

Easter for us has taken a more secular approach. The public holidays on the Friday and Monday means its one of the rare long weekends which we capitalise on for family gatherings and time.

Holy Thursday - Mass more out of association as a family member passed around this time and so a certain song for Holy Thursday mass was played at the funeral. So it became more out of association and paying respects/remembering then the religious connitations that we go.

Good Friday - Family Day/night together where we try not pick up any shifts so we can spend it watching the annual Good Friday Appeal or a particular movie.

Easter Vigil (Saturday) - Preperations, Cooking together, going shopping and getting each other things. More Cooking. Movie.

Easter (Sunday) - Family members give each other eggs, breakfast of coffee, chocolate and hot crossed buns. Later on the Relatives over and an extendard family gathering takes place. Exchanging of gifts and more an excuse and set date to meet up.

Easter (Monday) - The Clean Up, The Hang Over & the Sleep in.

For all those about to eat a chocolate Bunny:

They're creatures too. Cruelty to Easter Bunnys is not cool!

*Apologises to anyone who cannot eat their chocolate afterwards*

yeah, true... I don't need to worry about that just yet though.

I'm gonna need a treadmill after this weekend.

I like to think every day is precious, but that's just me...

Cheer up Charlie, whatever is bad in your life right now will pass. Just remember that there is always some more worse off than yourself, so don't feel like the world is targeting you for some cruel reason. Sometimes life doesn't like to leave you alone. You'll be a better person for your pain at the end of the day.

If yo refered to me as charlie, then no the targetting was NOT at me...at least not directly and not thought to be that way. But well things dont happen always as we think :o

Its a reference to the classic movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"

Great song "cheer up Charlie, just be glad you're you...."

No way meant to be derogatory, just thought I would through in a classic quote.

And life NEVER goes the way we plan, but you make do with what you have.
