Re: Eating Meat and Why?

i eat the regular meats. cow, pig, chicken, sheep... etc etc... obviously in its lower forms, ie pork bacon beef lamb etc...

i like to think i have a balanced diet, but thats only half of maintaining yourself healthily. the other part is living healthily, ie exercise (something i dont do enough of :P)

ive seen may people fall into the trap of eating right but not exercising at all and suffering, wondering why...

besides i kinda think ppl who dont eat meat miss out a bit... hmmmm... bacon... :P (yes its a bit fatty and salty, but eaten in moderation, its quite healthy.)

Re: Eating Meat and Why?

Meat and I have a very strange relationship. I hate it but need it in turn.

I'm not going to get my proteins from peanuts or vitamins, I could but that's out of the question.

If I don't eat meat, I feel weak and sick. My body is powered by it.

I personally think it is sick though, but a necessary evil.

I will not eat meat on the bone. It is a bizzarre idea to me. I will not eat any meat that resembles a "part". Like a tongue, and leg. I will not eat organs unless they are processed in a hot dog or patty and I didn't read the package to know they were in there.

Which is a sickening idea all to itself.

If you were mortally offended by the "Anus Pact" sig, never read the ingrediants of a hot dog. You'll never eat another as long as you live.

There's anuses pact in there, along with ears, eyes, toes (if applicable) Penises, everything that is scrap after the the butchered carcass is pillaged, that is what is stuffed in a hot dog. Its an economic way for the slaughterhouse to make a few extra bucks off the useless waste.

Re: Eating Meat and Why?

Yeah I like me some meat but I won't anything that I could get at a pet store. I just stick with Cow, Pig, Chicken and Fish. I eat meat almost everyday sure I will probably have Heart trouble later on but man does that meat taste good when I eat it. My most favorite thing to do is suck the marrow right out of the bones in the meat. What can I say I am a Cave Man at heart. *Beats Chest* MEAT GOOD.

If you really don't eat meat, I suggest you research vegan and vegetarian diets. There's a lot of stuff that meat gives, like proteins and all that; But if you do a little research you'll find that most of it can be replaced by eating other foods.

Plus--in addition to the bad stuff in hot dogs, like you described--there really is a lot of bad preservatives and stuff used in meat now, and a lot of it really is poison.

Basically, if you do it right and find your balance, not only will you get over that sick feeling when not eating meat, but you'll feel a lot better from it. :D (though, I should probably also warn you that there's a detoxing phase, where your body tries to clean out the poisons you've been eating for so long. Isn't a pleasant process, but it's worth going through in my opinion.)

Nobody's talked about eating humans yet, although I've read a long and delightful article that puts forth many a hypothesis on the experience.

As for eating meat, I recommend this song to anyone fluent in German.

Thats the best bit!

The meat closest to the bone is the most flavorsome and tender. I dont understand how anyone could not like the taste of meat :? Esspecially if it is well marinated, and well compensated with other foods. However meat on its own is terrific to :-D

You give me a cooked lamb leg, even with nothing added, ill give you back only a clean bone :-D

Roast lamb is beautiful. And you just cant go past a nice stack of rips in pepper sauce :-D :-D

*gets very hungry*

Seriously its nearly 7 and dad isnt home yet, I want my dinner :P

Re: Eating Meat and Why?

we probably don't eat dogs in europe because they were more usefull alive than dead, and probably don't taste that great either. Perhaps breeds in China for example are not as well suited for working as european breeds like collies are.

personally, i love a good roast dinner too much to ever be a veggy.

Christmas just wouldn't be the same without the turkey and the works

Eating humans eh? Deity knows a thing or two about some places in the world that would happily take a bite out of your slowly grilled arm or thigh.

We find it disgusting because it's us, but imagine if it turned out that humans taste exactly like premium eye fillet steak... I wonder if people would think differently... considering the already disgusting things we do eat.

Interesting... very very interesting.

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.
