However my house which is about 20/25 miles from town has a wireless of 800 KB/s because you cant get cable down that far.


its better than mine... 512 down, 128 up... according to the plan, and i couldnt be bothered testing it, im just lazy... :P

Dam there be some slow internet out there.

I have a 8,000kb/s down and 512kb/s upload

The UK has OK internet access, i have an unrestricted ISP but most UK ISPs have a limit on what you can download per month etc etc,

Compared to other places in the world the UK has pretty poor internet, i believe S.Korea leads the way with home internet with an average home connection of 20-100Mbps <---- thats right Mbps (20,000-100,000kb/s)

I would love a 100Mbps unrestricted home internet connection.
