I hope you can clear you conscience with this plan. Although I have a few questions to ask you. How does buying these people back really help you ?

Its good for PR I agree, but it doesnt really sort out the problems. These people will still not like and then they will have your UU too.

Maybe you should do them favours, like help them with alliances, or help them with advice, or just generally be there friends ?

Change the hearts and minds of the people, by doing good deeds instead of paying your way back into there hearts.

Well thats my advice anyway.
