*A note on the above updates, taken in conjunction: the reason abandoning and only 1 planet per day stayed, despite plans otherwise, is that the beacons can be used to track a planet, and with enough beacons, and time, it is entirely possible to retrieve all planets taken at any time.
Besides, everyone needs enemies
from games update... just read the end
and as said before, this is the only thing who could be used by smalls players during a war, dont remove them that.
removing 10 planets from someone in a day is one of the most appreciated attacks agaisnt someone who is really looking for <selfmodded>
and as it was said in gamesupdate (but i dont find it anymore and i dont have the time to do it) ---> planets are never safes from ennemies

Well my suggestion that was much more "fair" and "realistic" was this. Base retreivals on how long ago the planet was taken. I mean its so stupid that a MS sits there watching planets beening attacked and wait for them to start hauling it off before reacting. My suggestion was that your MS can go into action immediately when a planet is taken. Since they are dragged away and it takes 24 hrs to reach the attackers realm then if the planet is taken and taken back in 1 turn or 30 mins then that should cost the MS 1 hr, 30 mins out and 30 mins back.
If someone lost 10 planets in 1 turn and 1 hr later returned they could then send their MS out, it takes 1 hr to over take the planet and 1 hr too return it. Then could go after the second planet which is 2 hrs out. 2 hrs out and 2 back. now the third planet is 6 hrs out.
Using this you could get 3 planets back if discoverd in the hour they were taken. If you discover it in the turn it was taken you could get 4 planets back. This is a compromise allowing the multiple planet steals to continue to work but offer some faster response to them as well.

well said both sides of the aisle would have to agree this is a good compromise. would also like to see the one MS can only mass one planet per day.

Mass once a day, idea of Lore's, excepted you can only take four planets a day from a player with your "team" (each player for each planet).
Why four? The 4 MSs topic made me think of this number lol

all thats needed is a [Recover Planet] button at the bottom of the attack log for your stolen planet... and you can only use that to recover your planet in the first 12 hours and you can do it multiple times (once for each planet)

I disagree with the one planet per day as it makes no sense. 1 planet may have 1 defense on it. and that should not lock down a MS.
There is a massive difference in a planet with 1 def facility and one with 1 mill def facilities. 1 strike on 1 planet could lock down a MS in your seniario and thats not really functional or fair.

sounds fair but how would it work when stealing a planet that not yours would your MS be out for 12 hours?
if yes then there be risk in taking other people planets
also there be abuse in wars cause people would steal a planet just before they go to bed then wake up and wait 4 hours then mass with there MS
also see alot of people stealing just before turn update

personally i think a ms should be AWOL during the 24HRs it takes to get a planet to your realm, sounds kinna stupid that a MS is towing a planet and it takes 24 hrs to reach your realm but its also there when your def is tested and there when you attack so a MS can be in 3 different places all at once.
Now who was wanting multiple MS's?? LOL
