how is admin going to pay what i invested in planets =?? i had 4 accounts, lots of planets lost, gone sold, sent to space, etc etc etc.... hell they cant even keep track of that....
No planets should be gone..... even with no repayment, all bigger dudes with plague will do is invest into their raw UP... so will i, and there is no way to match my income with a new player, or an smaller one... but if they have planets they at least can get more things with them.... :-D

but if someone doesnt want his planets... well can be sent on his own to space.... just an idea nothing personal nigatsu.... :-D

yea 50tril on raw up would be awesome :P but im not gonna agree to take planets away, hell they do miricles if u let them but without them would be just as good, takes alot of income to get a good planet.

please do not take them away...itd be cruel to take them away now after years of building them...cruel in the utmost

if anyones sure they would be better off without planets feel free to dump them and see how you do...im sure no one would complain too much :p

limit planets to people of a certain size and smaller.

once you reach the limit in size they disappear.

at least then you'll have a choice, stay under the size limit and keep planets or grow beyond the limit and not have 10 crutches to prop yourself up.

we dont have massings out of boredom now?

either way it allows the smaller guys to have a little extra something against the bigger guys, sorta keeps them on a level playing, or a more level playing field in a battle. to be honest, most of the big players dont need the planets and if they didnt have them they'd be fine. and if you can only have planets under a certain army size that helps to keep stats down so little guys couldnt have a monopoly, such as limiting how many planets of a certain type they can have. this would prevent little blahh's from popping up all over the place.


i believe if you put a size cap on planet owner ship plus putting a limit on how many planets of one type you can have (stopping the 10 of the same kind phenomena) it gives a boost to the smaller player and gives them something to help them against bigger players.

yeah yeah losing their planets would make tons of the big players angry, so what is what i say to it. with armies over 100, 200 and even 300 mil they dont need the planets (yes im aware of the plague, with this perhaps reviewing how the plague works should be mandatory), their sheer numbers in their armies are enough. if they cant play or keep up with other without planets then they arent very good players then are they?

my idea addresses three issues: limiting planet types, limiting planet ownership to planet size and reworking the plague since big players would not have the advantage of any planets. this allows for a more natural growth of bigger players, a boost for smaller players to get up to their size which allows for more competition and that means more fighting and that means more fun and might take away the "punishment" of the plague.

thats a itriguing thought, I would like to read more about it, its pretty basic but there might be elements that I am missing...

How does your suggestion work with armysize owning planets? Can we have some formulas and examples?

Why? Because the admin is favouring a group of players who have attack and income planets. I`m one of those players and i don`t think that this advantage that i have is fair. :oops:

So instead of favouring me i would like all the planets removed to make it fair. :D

example, the size limit could be 50 mil, mercs not included. at 50 mil you get a warning...the warning states that for each 1 mil you grow above 1 mil you lose 1 planet at random. this is so A) you dont lose them all at once B) you can adjust to having an account without planets. so at 51 mil if you have 10 planets, you lose one at random with a scripted event of some sort. so by 60,000,001 you have no more planets. this is a rough idea and the numbers given are merely examples, not proposed number to be used. the actual number could be and perhaps should be agreed upon the players in a poll in game as not everyone goes to the forums but all players do go to the game server!


IF you set up your account and run it properly, it should be well balanced and once you hit 60 mil you have no planets and are on your own. a good CO and alliance by this point should have helped you learn how to run your account. so you should not need help growing at this point. you should be able to raid and trade your way to the top. it requires work.

also...

even if bigger players buy from smaller players they only have their own raw income to use, not planets, this means they must farm more BUT, because planets help the smaller guys with defense, strike, income, UP and covert...there is a chance they could run into someone who could give them an actual fight over the farming. so with purchasing, bigger players are still limited even with farming.

also perhaps raiding limits should be reviewed in this! without planets, bigger players might be able to raid again, or at least raising the cap some.

the plague should be reworked so bigger players over a certain size arent punished or not punished as much for being rather large, without planets to help them they should be reward for natural growth and work. i suspect having no planets plus many liking a good fight, it might keep them under the plague limit anyway (i forgot what when the plague kicks in so please excuse my ignorance on this pert)

i also propose this as bigger players already know the ins and outs of the game, they know how to run their account, they know how to mass, ac farm raid...etc. so why should they have planets to give them an even bigger income or strike? my idea at the least only requires that big players play on their own merits skills and knowledge, not what planets give them but what they give themselves. truly this would become a survival of the fittest. those who can make do will and those who cannot will wither on the vine as it were. yes i know a lot of people have put a lot of time and resources into their planets. but planets can also be stolen, so putting your eggs into one basket is one's own fault and you run the risk of losing your investment anyway.


i also feel this may limit the outside the market cash trades, while i have nothing against them this might stem the tide of people who seem to own accounts just to sell resources for money. it could also help reduce scams as a result. no guarantees on any of this though. im sure some will just find a way around it but they do so at the risk of reducing their account size, if they can without having to do lifer suicide attacks, which redues their income and army size and ultimately their ability to "run with the big dogs". at least then those who only play to sell for cash will be more obvious and other players may do with them as they see fit (educators anyone?)

the last thing i can think of right now is people over the limit being able to steal planets from smaller people yes but they are automatically abandon, the player over the limit doesnt have an option in the matter. it is abandoned or destroyed. because of this the number of planets a person can lose in a day should be looked at and maybe changed.


this idea of mine would require looking at and reworking many other things in the game that in the past people have complained about, raiding limits, plague, etc. i think this could help to tweak those things and make them less harsh on players.

i only suggest this to bring a balance between the huge and small. i want this to help small players while at the same time, lift some of the burdens of the bigger players so they too can benefit from such an "update" if it was ever put into place. that way its a win win for everyone but in different ways.

what if the admin reset the game and then with no planet what do u say?
i think that u can be smart when u are big, but put yourself into the smaller player

200 mil would be too high and the admin isnt resetting the game. if he did a lot of people would leave in a mass exodus. bad idea all around.

hmm its a intiguing thought, but its very explotiable, you could sell your UU at the cap for loosing planets. But its a good thought. Perhps keeping the armysize lower for planets being attainable would work better. say you start loosing at 30m and all planets are gone at 50m
