agreed...even respect is a skill...now ppl will give it on their own acord...so seemingly you cant effect it...but majority of ppl actually builds it through their actions and tactically...
Thats my opinion anyway...


You can be respected for diffrent things...and respect often shows acknowledgment from the other party that the XYZ made something of some importance etc...



For instance I could hate a certain alliance but respect it at the same time...not just cause I am nice but respect it = give them credits for some of their actions even if I would hate them...with it I would acknowledge their "strength" same could go with players...

Just pick some inactive in the 60K rank and make them the best player. It would save a lot of discussion and resultant debate.

but seriously, i think the "best" player is the one who is willing to do anything to get power, and get that power fast
unless you are cheating/scamming/massing random noobs/extortion users they are just low

Rank is pointless, who different people class in their opin the best player need not be ranked 1 or in the top 100 or even 1000 for that matter. Boosting or dropping stats is something anyone can do so really it doesnt matter. The point RobinInDaHood was getting at though was to pick some RANDOM so that a whole lot of bickering wouldnt happen.

It is based on time now - but it wasn't always whoever spends the most time logged on ended up being the 'best' (and I would argue that those who spend the most time logged on are not the best 'players' anyway - they put in the most work, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are also the best!).

At one point the best players were the ones who used their resources most wisely, attacked/sabbed tactically, had a good grasp of the game politics and had the best strategies. That all went to pot through some things that were poorly thought out or badly implemented.

If this was about Ascended Wars it would be easy, Mojo Rising with the way he dominated ascended when it was about size and power. He figured the server faster than most and reaped the rewards because of it.

However, with main server its impossible to tell. Easy to say the best is the biggest but that isnt true because te biggest players are often the ones shielded by their alliance/tag. And alliance/tag do not define a player.

Tactics in war, and general play and management of account defines the best. but its impossible to name names.

For example, i believe a 100k army size noob who farms 0 defence accounts for 4b naq per hit using that naq to buy more turns and the rest as pure profit (140b profit per 1k) is a better player than half of the big players in the game who just invest there turn income and dont need a big defence because of their tag. Player in above example is working smartly using accounts close to his size to gain without taking on players out of his/her league and actually playing the game also.

Commitment to the game is key

you have a problem with debating this question? i haven't seen anyone bickering,

Wolf thats also true, the game as it stands atm is about time, and people who just log in occasionally are not exactly going to get anywhere, secondly the respect thing, is usually if not always earned by the person by proving himself first ingame by(sometimes on forums), hence why usually the most respected people also know how to war the best and even if they don't have the biggest accounts can handle themselves so technically they are the best players in the game

Perhaps you should learn to read? If you bothered to do so you would see all I did was clarify what RobinInDaHood had SAID - Not agree or disagree with it. Sigh 1/2 of the time the bickering comes from people like you NOT READING what was actually said.

How about everyone that feels they are the best, just start a massing tournament in the Arena and who ever survives will be deemed the best
