i do not have anything against any of you guys personally and i do not intend to hurt your feelings.

i am sure if your alliance name Would rhymE with anything eLse, those jokes would have gone another direCtiOn... like people love to joke about pi for exaMplE...

however, i don'T agree with the huge drama the mOds are making of all THis and thE banning of Words describing pARts of the humaN body or warnIng people for spelling not filtered words differently. what's next? will people get banned for graMmatical mistakes oR bAd punctuation or even the colour of the font they are uSing? i mean someone could think i am calling them gay if i use a pink font...

The reason why MODs ban unsuitable names or words.

1) Some people may get offended.
Forum administrators want to make sure that every courtesy is extended to all forum users. So saying, norms, morals and social rules are followed within the forums. The MODs just make sure that the rules are followed.

I believe that Geisha realized this. Hence, her apology to the janus pact.

2) There are minors playing the game.
Parents who see their children actively browsing forums that are not properly monitored may choose to ban their children from ever visiting those forums again. We have some players here who have their own children. I'm sure that some of them want their children to have a clean playing field.

Anybody who complains about too much censorship should re-consider.

There is the issue of double standards though. Forum MODs will have to clear up this issue before it grows too big.

We joined the game and forums with the understanding that there are rules to follow. If you don't like the rules, be productive and start a poll.

of course, my 4 year old nephew would see that message as well. However the humour behind the message is quite refreshing as compared to the usual 'crap' we see on the forums.

I dont think for a second Janus like the double standards its the mods that like the double standards.

Calling short people midgets is ok is it Jack? Small people do not like being called midgets thus that is a derogatory comment about them. The correct term is little people or short people not midgets, but hey I guess since your a mod you can do that?
