In Pi no order was given to mass war officers although they may decide to in the future (who knows!).

Again... its a valid war tactic... just not very honorable. But thats just my opinion.

I was massed several times for being an officer and it never bothered me much. I was given warnings by the massers 24 hours ahead of time each time... decided to stick around and they held true to their word. I even learned a few things and made some new friends along the way.

Nonetheless I see nothing wrong with it, especially if given advance notice first. I might not personally do it, but I don't frown upon it either.

I ask the community this, since it is becoming a growing problem in the SGW community, where honor of battle is replaced by acts of desperation by massing ones officers either because the attacker cant hurt you anymore, or because they supply resources.


I believe massing ones officers because of either 2 reasons is wrong, if they arnt apart of the war, leave it so. There are no more honorable battles between people, only this.

no matter how you look at it, an officer and CO are allies. the true test of loyalty that exists between officer and CO is during a war where the officer or CO is under threat of attack. if an officer abandons his CO or a CO abandons his officer in a war, then that test of loyalty would have failed. you will find out who your true friends are.

What you all fail to see is this was never really an ok tactic until just very recently.

When I started this game, when an officer was attack, alliances would almost go to war because of it. Now, an officer is treated as second class.

I agree that a CO and Officer are connected, but only for naq and UU. If they arnt in the same allinace, same Pact, why should they be massed?

Its a coward mans act, a way for those who cannot carry through with just farming, the only real tactic left in this game.


Just one more thing, you all seem to think this is just because of what is happening in the Sever War, its not. My officer was half massed by Kill just because he was my officer and providing reasoruces.


The games community is vancant of all Honorability. If you look for a clean, honorable 1vs1, it wont happend. Someone will join in, or mass ones officers.

I disagree. It's been both acceptable and ongoing for as long as I have been playing. IF this is a war game, you cut off the supply lines.

If you care for your officer...boot him before war.

More and more of the game of StarGateWars is being lost due to officer massing during... wait for it... a war. So, by making war with officers we are moving further away from this being a war game?

People mass officers in war... You are gonna have to get over it at some stage because there is pretty much nothing you can do to stop someone doing it in a war.

You may not see it as fair or honorable, but what is these days...
