Long live the world of repeating..

You're right.

Well now. According to MLH, there was no reason. If we take fairness into account, it should be the top three to avoid any accusations of bias.
Keep your tempers down folks. Let's wait for Smoosh to comment.
MLH. we've got your back.
@auriel... I believe i will quote you in my sig.

From what I've seen personally in presidential and local elections, the ones who get most votes and above a certain percentile, pass the second turn's wall...

Yay Neutral person for a neutral Ombudsman position selected by a neutral administrative team!
Option 1: DDE
Option 2: TLE
Option 3: Omega
The system Works
*watches Ombudsman position finally vanish into obscurity*

papa~Smurf wrote:on the serious side, i really do believe that the office of ombudsman would be best severed by some one who is not of the major alliances. Often one charges the other with mod bias already. I know kill, and i do not think he would do that, and from what i hear of bill and the others, the same can be said But that would not change the fact that bias, even unfounded, could be called by the other side. Some time the charge of wrong doing is as bad for the person as the act.

As someone already pointed out, it's not 30%. Majorlee didn't even get 20% of the votes. It's not THAT hard of math...
But I believe this has turned into where everyone comes and moans and complains about every little thing the mods do/decide on.
Wah wah wah!!
The whole lot of you need to get over yourselves. The mods (while imperfect like all of us) are doing an overall great job in my opinion. Lay offa them, doltish posters. If the best thing you have to do all day is nitpick with volunteer forum mods, you must lead a very sad and pathetic life and for that I am sorry.

i have yet to complain, i just wish to understand the decision process that the mods take when giving us some one to support us. Would u not question if the District Attorney in case against u hand selected the lawyer to represent u ? Kill, and Bill both are fine players, and thou i don't know the other fellow, but i am sure he understand what this position was intended to do. i only wish to hear from smoosh on his reasons and how the selection is made. As it would seem that MODS and MEMBERS from both sides wish. If that wahwahwah to u, well........

As for the rest of people who have voiced their concerns - it has been addressed in privacy and we will get a statement from smooshable soon.

I do believe I am owed an explanation as are all the people who have been so gracious to support me.
To be fair, I was also upset to see that draleg was included in the vote. MLH seemed to have the votes. But it's up to the admin to decide whom will be the 3.

with all respect teal'aue, i have not spoke with smooch, nor seen him post here to answer my question. As far as majorlee, well she watching tv and no one has said any thing to her. So why is my question being so shadowed in mystery and held to debate with out my hearing the questions being asked and answered ? Hmmmmmm the white house should have such spin.
