you don't think?, well that shone through nicely in your post. and what exactly is it that you know you are? all you've said is "why isn't it?"
And if you believe your clever solely on because you think that then you better go see someone.
Now what Wolf said was that this will inevitably lead to there being far more AT's with such an update and so far there are already too many in the game also with 5 market turns you could protect 2 planets every week, meaning you could prevent them from ever being attacked, if that happened then even less of someones account would be destroyable, which is exactly what warmongering people keep complaining about.

as if you stating "why is it needed?" wasnt the same spin...so your just as guilty of the same, I nearly showed your flaw in your question, when you said such, but didnt provide reasons, perhaps next time when you ask such questions you can provide reasons and try not to shove blame to others who point at holes in those questions. now when he made the queation "why is it needed?" he didnt provide any reasoning to such question and as I keep saying I was merly pointing that out, perhaps you can try avoiding that 'left thinking' you have been practicing far to long.

Ifrit - there was no flaw in the 'why is it needed?' question. It was stated that someone thought it was time it was needed, and others agreed. There was no obvious reason why they thought it was needed (there still isn't) and so the question was asked.
It was not a statement that was made, as you seem to keep suggesting - it was a question that was asked in response to a statement that had been made. Had a statement been made, it would have been backed up with facts - the question did not need 'reasons' as you put it as it was questioning a statement that wasn't backed up by facts.
I suggest if you want to take this further then you do so in private. Any further pointless responses in this thread will be deleted and warnings issued if appropriate. 5 a week would be a bad idea unless the amount of MPDSD were lowered to 1 or 2. (same if you increase it to 4 a week).
The amount of Personal ATs that could be traded for should remain the same but still take all your market turns as should the planet creation. The only reason to do this would be so that people can PPT twice a week and still get a few more bonuses like larger bank and more MPDSD. I personally feel that allowing increased bank size would not really benefit anyone but large accounts and increasing the amount of MPDSD that one is able to get each week would also not be beneficial as it would reduce the effects of wars. Therefor I'd say the current number of 3 with all the current trade options is just fine. Intelligent counter-arguments are accepted.

Actually, increasing the MT amount to 5 would allow for 3 planets on permanent protection.
2 MT's = 4 Day PPT
3 MT's = 9 days Merlin
Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs = PPT
Fri, Sat, Sun (3 days) 1 MT = 3 days Merlin so 9/3 = 3 Planets protected.
A possible limit, would be to only be able to buy 3 of something, ie can only purchase turns 3 times on the market(or once if you use the 3 MT for nontransferable), only 3 merlins, etc.
Or course, this doesn't stop the 3 planet on permanent protection problem I stated above.

thats a good point if the MT's were to be increased why not put a cap on things like mpdsd?
PPT has a cap of max 2/week?
so why not have it give a cap on mpdsd?
lets say using what was said above:

i say we cap it off to a max of 3Merlins per week (aka 1 MT spent on merlin allowed)
if people pay $$$ for merlins then hell they deserve being able to protect their planets. just for being suckers.

more MT and more merlins .. will mean less ppl will buy USS
remember .. you can get 63 merlin days every week , 2 USS and one merlin trade
i dont know if its possible to buy 3 or more USS in same week.

2 USS + 1 Merl MT is max Merl gathering at 63.
Having more market turns would mean more planets on Merl's for longer, and isnt the idea, to be able to protect your planets for a limited amount of time on merls (unless your a new friend of admin, filling his pocket ;p) eventually you wotn be abel to protect them , or as it stands atm just 1.
Think about it, more merls = less reason for USS's = not coming in
Also it serves no real point.
