The sistem sounds way too complicated and by the looks of it I would be some extreme mod in comparison to others cause I am not joking when I say the word DELETE would get a new meaning...

Mmm...

You can become a race mod by public vote... votes are taking place when there is room for a new mod. Than race mods can became 'real' mods if they found to be good.

Than if section leaders need new mods, they can scan their section and appoint active members as mods after a 2 weeks trial.

We sometimes have public mod applications and add more mods after a team decision.

Sometime we just find someone goot to become a mod and offer them a place...

I think those are the current ways in.

As for DELETING stuff... we usually dont do that... splitting parts of a topic to the dump is a more appropriate action.

As to becoming a mod...I really have no idea how, nor why anyone would want to become one...

But just to be evil I will say that those who seek power are often corrupted by it.
So those who want to be a mod in the CHAOS section should probably just stick to posting regularly in that section with thought provoking posts that are within the rules. Then should the need for a new mod arise we'd notice you as the pillar of the community that you are. (so if you want to be a chaos mod don't apply we'll find you should we need more )

For the rest of the sections I have no clue.

When a section leader sees his section need a section mod its up to him to decide who he thinks should be there then it is talked about in the mod team and if all think its a good idea to try that person out he/she is.

If I understood what you were saying correctly...

For the record Semper: Buck was/is a much greater/better mod than I. You do me great honour by including me with him. I learned (or is it learnt?... is learnt a word?) a lot for him, Wolf, Sleip, goo, baz, pookie, psi, etc.

I think you don't have to try to be a mod to become one. What baz said was dead on (when I was around).

i think u would be a good mod, u have a kinda legalize about your self, and when given the law (be it one u are writing, or one already written) i bet u would fallow it to the letter. Not kissing a#$ , mean it.
