They wouldnt be safe either

my reasoning was u would take longer than 3 hours to mass that def down on nox and crit wouldnt it if not u need to do it with that time

indeed the largest accounts would be the first to be hit as they are the biggest targets...

It can be massed in less than 30 minutes... size of the defence has no effect on the number of AT's required to mass it to 0 as long as your hits are successful. If I can remember exact numbers any defence can be removed with about 450 AT...

Instead of forced untraining of miners, I rather introduce a 'corruption' mechanic.

After X time of having 0 defense, or so .. you start losing a percentage of your income. The percentage gets worse and worse, say up to -30 percent. (This would negate most people's ascended income boost).

not a bad idea, but is it really feasible? I mean can you log in, train 1 man and give him a gun and then untrain him to counter the effect? What decides the effect initiater?

Good question.

I would imagine corruption would also slowly back off to the 0 percent state and not instantly reset back to the 0 state.

All these checks would be done during the turn change of course but then again, I suppose it does not matter since people can buy right before, and sell right after. Heck, if you want to do that every 30 minutes be my guest ...

Ideas are never 100 percent, but sometimes we just have to live with them we can also base the count of SS defenders, and being armed. Dunno on what proportion the top sized people usually field but something like having at least 1 SS defender for every 1000 miners is not unreasonable.
200 mill miners then would need 200k SS Defenders armed to get maximum income potential.

My next question still needs answering, do you really want to reduce your farms to 0 income during a war? I mean they can farm all the income they need and offer 0 income for you to take from them. Is this really a direction we want to go?

No, that is why I mentioned a cap. Perhaps it can be tweaked but it would only remove a certain percentage of your income.

Up to 30 percent or maybe 25 percent lost sounds reasonable. That does not means lose income completely but only have a loss of a percentage of income instead of getting full income each turn. For most people, it just means losing the ascended portion of the income bonus.

You do realise that crit and nox burn 80% of your income now?

Good point, even at 0 spies you still show a covert power equel to your level.
