uberman was a kool idea with a few flaws, but still fun.

The older players always say that - i think it was wave 7? - was the best wave ever? (correct me if im wrong).

any of you oldies want to tell me why that one was so good?

Looking at the names down the ranking list hippy it seems like it would have been a wave with tough competition lol.

to be honest it was sucking by wave 7...4/5/6 were much better although raiding was being tried in one of those and that kinda ruined it a little bit. Back then it was no 4 stat techs, we had 3 techs for tauri/asgard/repli's which gave a massive boost the their relevant bonus area, the market had 5 MT's available, with PPT's being taken off that, meaning that it was actually a tactical choice to take a PPT coz it meant you had less AT's for that week.

X-server trading was allowed, but back then it wasn't too rampant, same for donating, people did, but more for the PPT's than for the resources.

The game is changed completely from then, for some unknown reason jason decided to make it needlessly complicated with extra techs, slashing the bonus for being tauri/asgard/replicator and insisting on adding a "win button" in most waves. What i mean by that is Uberman, happy, gambling, aquire naq, all retarded win buttons that are massively exploited and someone not realising how to "play the new system" in the 1st week is basically finished for that wave unless they have a spare $250 for USS buying.

This is why Q is dead, wave after wave of really poorly designed and implemented ideas when all us players really want is no bugs and a relatively simple 3 month wave where you can go on ppt for 4 days if you have a life, and if you don't you have sufficient turns to farm. Then you had to look at your PPT's realistically and decide whether it's worth saving turns for a week and sacrificing a PPT or 2.

Q has been reduced to pressing a button and getting a crap load of resources for no effort, where has the pride in farming gone? Oh, right, patched and updated out the game to the extent where this waves winner probably never even farmed anyone except their 50 feeder multies to top up their already ludicrous USS fuelled army.

To be fair, i have personally very much enjoyed the things like uberman and happiness (gambling was rediculous, i agree). But i also think your post is pretty much spot on. Quantum HAS turned into something that requires almost no time. All you have to do is log on a few times a week and 'press a button' and you will come in the top 10, at least. Feeders/Multies are all that matters, in fact, you can probably go down the ranks (top 5 at least) and 1st would have had most feeders, 2nd would have 2nd most etc etc.

Happiness is fun, and mixed with Military XP (if it gets added in) could be awesome. A better market system is definitely needed - why was the old one removed? The ability to be 'fed' needs to be removed in all ways. Farming needs to be MUCH MORE IMPORTANT.

Dear Admin,

Please remove the commander bonus from officers aquire naq again.

Further Please add in an AUTO training feature so that all UU is trained as miners, OR allow raiding back in.

The current market system is Great.

Keep that.
But add in the following.
2 market turns per week. that can be used towards ppt. and the PPT is STACKABLE. (24 hours each, or 2880 turns)

Military EXP, that gives a " added bonus for politicans killed"
MOST IMPORTANT>

IT"S RANKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! and counted.

This will remove the people who just sit up there at rank 1-10, who try really hard not to piss anyone off. They will be forced to piss someone off, if they want to stay there.

Killed politicans, sabbed weapons, and weapons destroyed, high values for the ranking" number of spies, AC, supers, defenders and the such not very high, as they can be " played with" Naq is Naq and can't be.

Adjust the happiness lost ratio, to be a factor of your level. ( yeah unfair to the big guys) but those levels work both ways.

i know there is other things but this is a start.

I would like the happiness gone next wave. The only ones who are using the most of it are the more stronger ones and also, poly killings can leave someone far behind especially in armysize count and happiness rank. It makes it harder for smaller accounts to compete. Again, happiness should be GONE next wave.

The only ones using it are the stronger ones? all i have to say to that is firstly, everyone starts equal at every wave, and secondly...maybe they end up strong because they DO use it? anyone can be polly killed at any time so i dont really see how it dissadvantages anyone!

At the start of a wave, there is no such thing as a small or big account. if you cant keep up, change your playing style, dont complain. And also, there will be military XP next wave so everyone will be killing eachother :D

I like the Happiness.
It adds another layer of strategy and tactics the the game. Even though I have never used it very well :)

Add Military Experience.
Same reason as above.
Rank both ME and Happiness.

Q DOES NOT need another PPT.
It needs fewer if any at all. Feeders need less incentive to play Q not more.
