if you are going on vacation simply make youself your own commander and do not go on vacation mode...As your own commander you will not make as much naquadah per turn and you will not get attacked as often...And like...Whoever said...You can simply sell the UT you make to repair the damaged weapons and soldiers you may have lost in that time...Though now that I think about it...Unless you have an UP of 2000 or more doing what I have just said above would simply bring you back to where you were before going on vacation...It all depends on UP...

The point you guys are missing is that when vacation mode was introduced there was a good reason for it.

One of the rules, or maybe urban legends, of this game at the time said that if your account wasn't active (for a set period of time :?) then it would be deleted.

Another rule at the time was that to become someones officer you had to both be of the same race.

Both were reason to not just leave your acount as a farm and hope it was still there when you got home from vacation.

So its 48 hours minimum, I got that.
But what if you set it for 2 days does it run out after the 2 days or does it just run out the next time you would log in after the 48 hour period?

No the minimun is 48 hours, but that still doesnt answer my main question!
