Weilandsmith never said he was offended by it.
But many different people of different ages, genders, religion etc play this game and to some people swearing is offensive, and masking it is just as bad.

I don't swear, and I'm glad swear words are against the rules. A large part of the SGW tends towards old-fashioned values such as honour, integrity and clean language. Yeah, we might kill of each others' supers, and mass down defences or MSs, but we respect the ppl sitting behind the other PC somewhere.
Tnx to the admins and mods willing to enforce the "keep-it-clean" policy, even if they don't always agree with it.

@darkalibino... let me explain this to you so you'll understand. it's part of the rules. offensive names aren't allowed. you report offensive names to admin.
if you wanna live in society, then you'd have to abide by it's rules. SGW by itself is a standalone micro-society that has its own rules. by deliberately stating your unwillingness or uncaring stance on the rules set down by the game's founders, you have inadvertently made yourself a target for isolation and ridicule.
this is not about me being offended. this is about living up to society. this is about respecting every person within these forums. if you can't do that, then YOU get out.
