Read most of the thread, mind wandered, came up with this skeleton:

Since the problem is exponential growth in power that the CS can't keep up with, why not have a modifier for it's total power based on your planets. Either total, or have each type be worth a score. Just like ascended beings drain energy from followers to empower them, the more under your control, the more power the things in you CS have.

And that's all I got.

if the ascention server is so messed up why dont they just reset it?

Because there is so much involved in doing so since main and ascended are linked. Its not an easy task and incompasses more then you realise.

surely it cant be that difficult to just get rid of everyones stats

In this case small players get screwed up big time. They already can't farm people who are 5x or more bigger than them so those with few 1000's army size can't get any DMU that is even worth calling DMU and now basicly (if I understood u right) big players would have stronger CSs and this mean that smaller players will have even greater difficulties with farming bigger players.
I do still think that multipliers are the best solution...

angrykid - many of us invested a lot of main reasources in ascended server and in case of a reset we would want (and would have every right to) have them back, however admin can't track even the reasources we spent for ascending, let alone reasources spent if you bought some DMU on black market

Lore is there a way you could get a message to Jason on this subject in one of the meetings?
(PS @Lore, still use that sig in another game on gladiator theme? What was it, Maximus Decimus Malus or something like that? Boy I had trubbles with it lol)

As I said, it was only a skeleton of a plan. It would need to be discussed and modified to be effective. I honestly know nothing of the ways of the ascended server, since I just ascended after clawing my way along for nearly four years, or was it just three.

CS is very expensive and only gets even more expensive as you invest, so big already has the advantage of having larger CS, once you hit 2b planets (which is easy enough) you an hit anyone wih defeatable defenses, so really it isnt that hard to get a good strong ascended, takes time but its far easier then main. So I dont really see anything wrong with your suggestion mate.

Yes you could level everyones account to 0. I'm not so sure that everyone who spent 3+ years, Trillions and Trillions of naq, millions and millions of UU, and possibly even $$, would be real happy about it.

You don't think the rank 1 account should get any compensation? Plus Jason has always said its not a resetable game.

Maximus Decimus Meridius, I had an awsome rolling sig with his quote from the movie. To bad it died, I tried the new one for a day or two, couldnt get into it and got banned on the second day because I couldnt remeber my password, never went back. The race choices and bonuses were all messed up LOL.

Yeah I remember, cutting down 3' and a few seconds to, what, 45 seconds and making sure it wasn't too big... Too bad u got banned there mate, I'm sure u were among the greatest like here
