When I used to deal in resources, several of the people who purchased naq from me did so because their accounts were too large to recieve or raid additional UU. I guess that's one possible explanation.

I've always noticed the price difference... anytime I've bought anything with $$ I've bought UU (not done it much to be fair)

If I had the time/inclination I'd buy UU with $$ sit on it and fill my bank then arrange ppt's with a friend and sell the UU for naq and then sell the naq in my bank and from the UU sales for $$...

but I'm too lazy to do so... I occasionally sell my UU for $$ if I need money... otehr than that I sell it for naq and increase my base up...

200,002 base up

300k is another 41-42 trill but at least then I can have a nice rounded number...

Well although I've played this game for at least a few years, I've never looked into this, I know you can buy Resources through the Black Market (Cash Market), but I can not figure out that players could sell their Resources for Money. I kinda like to do that if I could and know more about it. I wouldn't rely on this game if I'm wanting to make Money every day, I would think I would get a few dollars or so, but not as a job.

yha, strangly enough though the sgw market seems more stable the U.S. market.....

you should check out our Canadian Dollar, our dollar seems like crap compared to the US Dollar, a site I use say 1 US$ is worth $1.23237 CAD (did I said that wrong? )

more money than sense, and when you have more money than sense, then you cant be arsed to go threw all that trading for the sake of a few dollars lol

But, many of my mates play on-line poker and spend $100s' of dollars per week. Madness

They seem to loose more then they win, but when I ask them they say, why not, it is just cash.

So apply this to a game.

Additionally, some people get more fun using $$$ to spend on a game then go putting into beer + girls (men) + funny substances.
Sure, your get a buzz, but at least after a massing in game, you do not feel like pup in the morning

On the other point, I am shocked how many players find it difficult to work out pricing strategies on naq/UU.

At the moment it is a buyers market
