Yeah Weil i'm afraid 80b DMU is peanuts.
I have a 3tril income and as urogard said there's much bigger than that!

for some reason, the system won't let me hit accounts that have trillions of DMU out in the open. I've seen 50tril, but i can't hit them. care to tell me why?

Pobably the 5x attack mod thing, you cna only hit people up to 5x bigger andup to 5x smaller. Meaning ifyou have 1bill planets you can hit people from 200mill planets to 5bill planets, no bigger. No smaller.

Nope, we are talking amounts of planets. untrained or trained doesnt matter.
