mojo was good to go.

Anyone remember mujo though? He was another good player.

Mujo was the first person to ever mass me. I was very new at the time. He massed Phatty and I because Phatty stole his ascension naq and I was his officer... :D

I remember he wanted some absurd amount of naq returned to him. If not he was going to mass Phatty's alliance. I believe it was Reaper's Bane at the time. I don't remember if it every happened or not.

Is that when I massed Reaper's Bane? I remember me and some friends doing it, mujo might have been among them.

Did he fully quit? I don't remember.

Dude could mass fast though, had some sort of system.

As for AGA, yeah he caused hate and discontent...but not as much as Squall did. That guy pissed off half the server.

That reminds me. The funniest thing I've heard Mojo say:

Mojo Rising: Are you **Filtered** **Filtered** me?
Hanbrough: ouch
myworld: thanks giuys
Noob3rt: lol Owch
zeekomkommer: like lol
Noob3rt: hahaha
Mojo Rising: That was the **Filtered** donkiest call that I have ever seen?
orpheus: playing a game for something later on ?
Dealer: myworld, you have 20 seconds to act
Mojo Rising: My world you suck
Mojo Rising: my world should be glad I don't live in gloucester
myworld: lmao
Mojo Rising: I would come to his house and kick his ass for that level of donkeyness
Noob3rt: lol
zeekomkommer: hahahahaha

Pardon the language. It was an enjoyable poker game.

DOOM LORD

Soo who are your SGW Legends?

You might want to check out the Hall of Fame - the greatest players, as chosen by the community, are listed there, and I think it is a fair reflection on the people who have achieved the most and influenced teh most in the game...

Hall of Fame: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=18739

The first 10 players in the list were voted in during the first awards (2005-2006). The next 11 players were voted in during the 2nd awards (2007-2008). There were only going to be 5 voted in at each subsequent awards after the first, but because the 2006-2007 awards were cancelled and so we decided on 10 (and then 2 people tied for 10th place). :-D

In fact, here they are listed below:

2005-2006 (Inaugural) Hall of Fame

EnterTheLion
JUAN
ESKER
ELUSIVE
BrotherCrit
Jaxin/ I Replicate
3rd Libra
Wolf359
UNKNOWN
nebulator

2007-2008 Additions to Hall of Fame

REK
STI
reborn
KGC
extremer
SVaRuN
RepliJake
GenLucky
Robe
Bad Wolf
Tweetygirl
Thank you will check that out now :)

what is the definition of a legend in SGW anyway? does it mean youre a legend if youve been around since it started? or does being a legend describe someone who has done something in the past 3+ years?

I believe AGA is a legend, because not only is he known well for what he does, but has done things most people wouldnt. He has extorted, jumped in and out of allinaces, starting wars and hell has even had most of the server sit on him for quite some time.

I guess everyones definition of a SGW legend is different, but mine is simple. Someone that goes above and beyond what a normal gamer would do, even if it is just one, insane and amazing act of kindness or of war.

So he's a legend for copying Esker, Squall, and perhaps a few others?

AGA is a decent sort, but I wouldn't qualify him as a legend yet. Ask in a couple of years who aga is, and few will remember.

Heck, few remember Squall which is a shame. But everyone would remember ETL, Juan, STI.

JUAN sucked in Counter-Strike. Hear me now JUAN! I still own you from 2 years ago!

I think a SGW Legend would be a person who stands out amongst his or her peers with a great attitude of how they play the game.

lol Noobert

perhaps they could be seperated into two groups

Legends of an Era
StarGateWars Legends

and ETL and STI will be ones that will always be remembered, Maybe Clarkey could almost also fit into that group, getting to 18th ascension and all =P oooo wat bout Tokra (uhh jenny i think? hvnt really talked to her but know of her reputation)

nvm its Teal'auc and Freespirit is another one that i rekon will be remembered for time to come

Bill, probably atleast 1/4 of the people that remember JUAn acctually dont, they have just heard of him and act like they do. Besides he wasnt a very talkative fellow :P Didnt catch him on MSN much anyways. Also same goes for alot of the really big names, people will pretend to remember them.

Also i remember Squall, him and his merciinary business, with his big ass spy level, well, it was then lol.

its more of question of who u will be remembered by the base of the game or by the Forum Community.

some people could still be classed as Legends even tho they may have not visited this forum much and may not be classed as such by them

Truth be told there... JUAN was actually a decent chap to talk to, I ran into him a while back and we spoke on many an occasion. ETL, I have spoken to a few times, and know a bit about him personally, and he seems of a similar sort, but maybe a bit more eccentric.

SGW legends. Well..lets take a look shall we? I'll break it down for you of some of the most popular ones...

firstly we have ETL. Created Omege possibly the most dominating alliance in an online game I have ever seen. He dominated Quantum on more than one occasion, and seems to able to get a long with people whilst keeping himself at an arms length. Also a bit eccentric and very heavily respected by many for potentially being the greatest player.

Then we have Wolf359. Charismatic, respected, down to earth, he created the EPA which spawned many other alliances thus ensuring his legendary status, without the need to mention his time spent looking after the forums, the cradle of SGW society.

STI, another seemingly down to earth player. Biggest army size for most of SGW's current existence and through it arguably the most powerful player for an equally lengthy period of time. Never afraid to go his own way.

REK. Possibly the forums jester on occasions, moving from a conquering System Lord persona to God almighty. Inherited the most aggressive ingame alliance, and possibly led it to its current height, undoubtably though had a massive influence on DDE, and therefore the rest of the game.

Admin Jason - made the game and brought us all together.

Then from there...the list sorta goes up and down, but very few others can boast similar resume's. So... do something memorable, be respectful to the right people long enough, and keep yourself to yourself and to your alliance, and legendary status is assured, and lets not forget it is who you are remembered by too...

Or is it?

Who gives a toss about getting on a list anyway? I have enough respect, friends and apparently infamy without it, most, of course, coming from role playing as a person I am not... or is this where you tell me, those on the list get several hundred trill naq sent to them each day?

*smiles, then turns to walk off, then stops and turns around...*

oh and btw. AGA is nothing special. He has done nothing many other people have done, and not in any more of a special or memorable way. I think putting him up there would pretty much be an insult to most of the others there (if they cared), most of whom have actually been the catalyst for game changing events.

*picks up chart* Mrs Nezbit.... *strolls off to do Job...*

lol.
