Field Hockey

fair enuf, club i play for has the best junior teams in the state, i think 2/3 of the state junior indoor hockey team are from our club

but our seniors are struggling a bit dam them senile old men and women!

Hehehehe, Our teams are pretty balanced, theres 7 in total and we all train together so theres a few guys who are really deserving of their place in the higher teams but mainly its a fitness thing, though some are just plain daft at times. We have a derby game saturday, our 4ths against 5ths. Should be good fun we threw away a clear win last week so we are gonna revenge ourselves on the 4ths.

ahhh, ooo have fun with that then! good luck! we have derby games as well since we share our grounds, we usually have the wood over Hawthorn Hockey Club =P (I'm in TEMs aka Toorak East Malvern Hockey Club)

do you have a club song and stuff u sing at the end of the game if u win?

Fraid we lost, I'm being slowly moved further up the field, from right back to right mid then finished the game at centre mid. now people are talking about me at centre forward because i can belt it better than the current forward.

i played inner once, i had no idea what i was doing so i just stuck on the inner that i was playing on lol, wen we were attacking i was just walking or running around randomly lol, we got belted that game 9 - 1 i think, or maybe like 6 or 7 to 1 haha

Hmm not sure. we play 4-4-2. 4 defenders, 4 midfielders(2 in the center and one either side at the edges) and 2 up front.

oh really? we play 2 - 3 - 5

2 Full backs, 2 Half backs to take the wings, 1 center half which is like the general, 2 Inners which is like inside midfielders, 2 attacking wings, and 1 centerforward

new season, playing in a lesser division but playing as a fullback now, its very entertaining, and omg, First Runner i swear is the best position to be in during short corners!
