Christ, thats sudden, we chatted online for a while about him re-enlisting in the army, he wasn't making a great go of it at the time in civilian life so he was going to do another tour for a while. Does anyone know what exactly happened, was he overseas or was it an accident on manovers or on base in the UK?????

He was a nice guy, I have fond memories of him

It is only through the passing of someone from the community that makes us realize how little we know each other.

Yes we may chat to each, we may battle each other, we may be in the same alliance or group but sometimes we don’t make the effort to get to know the person behind name.

I would suggest that as a tribute to Ocean/Rob that we all get to know another member of the community a little better – more then ‘hey lets mass so and so’.

I will admit that I fought Ocean / (CoTO/TO) but never really got to know any of them.

To this end – my msn is thicksoz@hotmail.com if anyone wants to take the first step just msn me.

Rob,

You did something that I don't know that I could do. And for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. *Insert 21 gun salute here* As a friend, you were always there with a good laugh or a dumb question that you knew the answer to. I am praying for your family so as they will be able to face the tough days ahead without you there with them.

All in all, WE WILL ALL MISS YOU! Thanks for giving the ultimate sacrifice to help keep us free and safe. You ARE da man!

Drivin

This is a great loss, I do not know what to say. You were a good friend and your posts on the forum always made me laugh. You were always there to offer advice and it was great to fight alongside you.

I will miss our chats on MSN and the porn links you always managed to find.

RIP Rob old buddy.

I didn't know you were over there. I've been there myself, and know what you and your friends go through.

RIP buddy, the rest of us will finish things for you.
