I don't remember if I posted here, I think I did.
This is a great idea. Sometimes your merlins run out in a war and you lose all your planets because you get unbanned while asleep for 8+ hours. Not happened to me..but it has happened to some.
I definately hope this goes through, even if it is more work for some.

well some have been banned for 3 days and more, there is no way to account for that when in war

While it might be nice to be able to 'account' for lost naq, UU etc etc... and in longer cases that might be necessary, I think the more important thing is to make sure that what the person has is 'safe' until they log in. They were 'logged out' as it where midway through doing something so IMO they deserve the opportunity to save what they have when they are unbanned, hence vacation is a good thing.
Let's worry about accounting later.

Admin kept telling me that it was standard procedure that accounts go on PPT after being unbanned. What did you get from him Zeek?

I think that is the case for normal bans but no necessarily for the neg naq/uu autobans. Could be wrong though.

I brought it up plain as day 3 times, even quoting this same thread to admin, he kept telling me that was standard procedure.

I know it was discussed again at todays admin meet.
