Hen due to the mechanics of this game I have always found myself on the other side and enemies with you I never knew you personally but you were a great adversary. Peace be with you and my condolances to your family.

I did not know Matt but Dosent mean that he wont be missed , It is a terrible thing for a family to lose a member But it is even worse for it to happen durring the holidays ,

I'm in now way related nor have I know this person, but the pain of a loss is something that no human being, family or loved one should go through alone.
Thus I extend my deapest love and sympathy to the family and a pray to The Big Chief upstairs to stand them by and help them through this time.

Ah Damn Hen, I so hoped that when Tanya messaged that she could not reach you after surgery that you were just recovering slowly.

So many here will miss him. No matter what side of him you were on he was a fantastic person to talk to. Always played so honorably. I have known him from both sides. My first run in was my first massing. He was hired to do it and was very upfront about it. That started us talking. Our talking led to sessions of going massing together and with other friends. I knew his name was Matt but he was always Hen when talking to him. Over the course of the years we sometimes were on the same side of things and sometimes different as dynamics changed but always talking no matter what. Game was game and friends were always friends regardless.

What a loss! Damn

im sorry to all his family and friends....it is hard to lose someone, and with it being this time of year, it has to be a lot harder.
you will be in my thoughts and prayers

He and I met after selling osme stuff to him, after that we talked about anything. He even helped me with my forum. He was always in a good mood. Easy going, even when i wasn't thinking right or was distracted. You will be missed my friend

Like.... wow.... its hard to beleive he is gone. Matt was a great friend to me, sadly we had our differences and grew apart, but he was a great friend... a great alliance leader.... He gave me some good advice in our conversation was always good for counsil. I was looking to talk to him maybe last week to bury the hatchet so this news is just....i don't know what to say... he will be missed

Rest in peace Matt. Tis a sad day. My condolences to his family and loved ones. We didn't always see eye to eye but I always liked him and his spunky nature.

Sorry to say I never knew him personally but I always respected him and somewhat looked up to him. I'll miss him greatly and I will pray for his family during this hard time.

I was just told this...and the breath leapt from me . In that horrible instant I felt the loss of a friend I never met, but felt I was close to in a way

This is truly awful news ...I am so saddened for his family and his many friends. Matt was a good person, a kind person, and had such a life in front of him that this just breaks my heart.

We used to talk all the time ...he called me old man and I called him the punk kid, but we did it because he knew my son is named Matt, so we had a bit of a running joke there.

He was a great guy . He was a true servant of his country and he LOVED the world and the people he met all over the globe. He once said to me while he was overseas ''I love the US, but i love the rest of the world too''...and he did.
I will remember that about him the most...that he found joy in the places he went and the people he met...he used to talk for hours on it.

There are people in many places on this world that will be shocked and saddened by this...that says a lot about this man .We are all a bit diminished by his passing.

Rest in peace Matt, and God be with you now ...
