I am an American and proud of it. If America had actually joined the Nazis, and/or had not fought for the allies, Hitler would have won WW2. If America had not gotten rid of Hussein, he would still be murdering people. I guess I don't understand how pure evil qualifies as "Very great at the same time."

The same thing could be said about many other nations during the fight against the axis in WWII..

yeah too bad america didnt really win WWII i am american too, if Hitler hadnt made the huge mistake of trying to invade Russia and fighting a 3 front war he would not of been beaten, He was a great mind slightly evil, but still great when Hitler invaded russia he lost a great portion of his army then America came in and finished the job

Although that was his initial plan for Germany, living space from Russia. If he would have waited he may have won. The Russian winter destroyed alot of his army. Another screw up of Hitler's was partnering up with Mussolini

In my opinion his biggest mistake was deciding to abandon bombing British airstrips for cities after Churchill started bombing German cities. That, and his "Final Solution" >_>

to be honest bix, the link does sound to me like a bit of 'propoganda' for lack of a better word, i mean yes she did some bad things, she did some good things too. and the fact that this person wrote a book about it seems to be nothing more than an attempt to make money off of the controversy. it may or may not be true but i suggest you find a more liable resource to reference. dont get me wrong here, im not trying to prove or disprove anything, just stating my opinion.

now back to the topic at hand, there are so many inspiring individuals i look up to who make this list, so much so that i dont know where to begin. lol

Well when someone uses the pain and misery of humans dying to make money to fund her obsession of religion she doesn't deserve to even be thought of as a good person.

not what i was saying, infact im saying i wont judge her because i dont know the full story. besides, were all human, and even others that are inspirational would have done SOMETHING in life to lessen our views and beleif in them. we dont know the full story, or even if this is real, so im not going to say what i think of Mother Theresa. :P

actually lol..I was just ranting. I dont really buy into IQ, but alas the majority of people DO ergo my use of it in this instance. Last time I had an IQ test, well I had three separate test's. The Mensa one, and another two, all three conducted by a psychologist in a dyslexia test (for reasons pertaining to how I should be performing and all that jazz), this was..oooo... 2.5 years back now and if memory serves I got 158, so im betting if I did the same again now it would probably be more around the 165 mark perhaps...but like I said. I, ME, dont really buy into them. :)
