becouse some does lives protected by rockets and nukes they think thhey can manage the hole world.
everyone israelian and palestines have the right to live in that piece of land.
tho whole story started when european countries kicked all israelians in an educated way. then the war between egypt, jordan and palestine vs israel.
israel won with the intel of US ans Russia. without the help of US satellites and russian intel they couldnt have know where the enemy army were placed.
they invaded lands and colonized them. they dont want to share the holy city with the other religions.
its not their holy city
and when Rabin (rip) was about to give those lands and make peace they killed him, who else could have done it??????????
in palestine ppl dont have food water health... guess why?
they want war with Iran and they want to put US to do it. we all are gone be hurt by their leaders decissions.
they dont care of OKB and other international organizations.
what can be said we have seen what army can do to civilian and what a civilian can do when he have nothing to lose anymore.

Re: Israel vs Hamas, whom do you support?
I wouldn't say i support either side, but I think both sides are in the wrong. I think Hamas's tactics of killing civilians is wrong, but Israel is now resorting to the same thing, and stooping as low as these terrorists. I think this war has caused them to lose their moral high ground, and all this will achieve is adding more supporters to Hamas's cause. Children, fathers etc who have seen there families die at the hand of the Israelis will feel they have nothing to live for except for revenge.

prime minister.. that sounds like a government.
yes.. they had elections there and stuff.. and hamas won.. so they're not exactly "ocupied" by israel (not like the hamas govnt is some sort of isreal's puppets, is it?).
so when hamas broke the cease fire it was really a GOVERNMENT of one quasi-country (we have a country governed by an anti-jewish terrorist organizations here like hamas, al fatah and plo, so what did youse expect from them?) firing rockets at another country (israel).
it like if brian cowenordered to bomb cardiff. the brits would be angry i guess.

Re: Israel vs Hamas, whom do you support?
I'd have to look this up but if I am correct, here is what happened:
Israel was formed, and the people who already lived there, who now make up the groups like hamas, WERE ALLOWED TO STAY. Some of the surrounding countries decided to bully Israel, and attacked them. The hamas people LEFT Israel and joined the fight against them. Israel won anyway. However, then they didn't let the people who had deserted and betrayed them return. CAN YOU BLAME THEM?
Now this info may not be 100% accurate, but its a lot closer than a lot of the stuff in this thread.
BTW,
I SUPPORT ISRAEL. I hate Terrorists, and I agree with Corran that they should be shot.
Israel stooping to the level of hamas? Please. The filthy terrorists actually put there command center under their biggest hospital so that Israel couldn't take it out without massive civilian casualties.

yeah could go either way, you cant really support either but yes you can see the point's of both sides... i wont go into detail because it was stated in the start of the thread not to go into other details but its more complicated and alot of factors contribute to the problem.

Re: Israel vs Hamas, whom do you support?
based on intent i identify more with Israel. Israel hasnt tried to kill civillians, Hamas has been firing rockets at civillian facilities purely to harm civillians. the main reason civillians have been killed by Israel are due to Hamas' tactics. ie as oneill said, base of ops being under hospitals, firing rockets from the equivalent of dense urban areas....... so on so forth....

Israel.
Israel has refused to negotiate with Hamas at times, but they got along well with Fatah. Shows they don't hate all Palestinians.
One of Hamas's beliefs is the elimination of the Israeli state.

the guerrilla army borns among the civilian, their are fathers, brothers and sisters fighting for their familes, some have forgotten this coz their countries are bringing the war faraway of their borders.
based on intent i identify more with Israel. Israel hasnt tried to kill civillians, Hamas has been firing rockets at civillian facilities purely to harm civillians.
hamas has strike rockets to cities, may i know how many died? coz everytime i herd that hamas stroke some rockets the report is 1-2 soldiers were killed not that 10-20 civilian died from a rocked.
and the kamikaze hits are not happening that frequent right?

And now more than a century passed since all those kind of colonisations were launched in Africa, Asia and South America. Yes..attempts of Mussolini's Italia, Hitler's Germany, Stalin's USSR, Milosevic's Serbia, Hirohito's Japan and Mao's China anexed territories and conquered countries last century...but, don't you see a common thing between them all?
Dictatorship. The plague of humanity (other plague being extremism/fanatism).
I think I answered pretty much to this quote.

low efficiency. they can't even aquire targets properly.
tactical question:
a terrorist dressed in civilian clothes fires a rocket from the front door of a hospital.
how to find the right person and eliminate him without civilian casualties?
strategic question:
a terrorist dressed in civilian clothes fires a rocket from the front door of a hospital. in order to kill him we bomb the hospital and announce we did it cos the terrorist was hidding in there.
is the local population gonna like us more or are they more likely to side with the terrorist?

People fighting for freedom are not terrorists. People using terrorist tactics like suicide bombing are terrorists.
And Hamas is "free". They just hate Israel.

Who says the IRA isn't terrorists? And Kosovo? Just because the bleeding heart media puts every underdog in a sympathetic light doesn't suddenly make it alright to rebel from their government. It's the same reason we shouldn't intervene in Darfur, because it isn't genocide.
