Decided to check this out since I'm bored atm - bought the series off amazon for £7....should be delivered sometime next year with that slow "super saver free delivery" shizzle

Got great reviews on imdb - and pretty impressive marks on there too. Will have to see what all the fuss is about

Its so original and so funny! Make sure after youve watched it you watch Serenity.

i disliked the film for one reason and one reason alone

they killed shephard bush, and he is HARDCORE!

Agreed, "the bible is a little less specific on kneecapping people" was a good line, and he seemed to be quite able to kick much ass, in both armed and unarmed combatz.

I was more sad they killed wash, wth was that about

Getting me all nostalgic, gonna have to dig out the series now and watch them back to back whilst in my duvet and shed loads of tea! now thats a way to spend a day off when you have no £ and payday is a week off! ~Thamuz~

btw: why do all the Alliance soldiers look like extras from Starship Troopers? Was it done deliberately to take the mickey?

what really bugged me tho was the undeveloped stories, e.g. would be Sheppard book, when he gets shot and the alliance take his ID tag then BOOM save him ... wonders what it was all about... plenty of room for the series to go for a few seasons.
