When will people get that he's Christian?

Show me a president who hasn't used 'family values' and 'religion' to promote themselves as 'great possible leaders'...

What America needs is an athiest leader. Not someone who believes in stuff from thousands of years ago. Maybe someone who has a more 'modern' way of thinking would be better. But as we all know you need to follow the teachings of christ to get any attention in America or you're some kind of mentally ill serial killer rapist satan worshipping GTA playing nazi muslim terrorist puppy killing Darwinism fanatical sacrilegious monster

I didn't watch the youtube video apart from maybe 10 seconds as it looked boring

When will people get that he's Christian?

Show me a president who hasn't used 'family values' and 'religion' to promote themselves as 'great possible leaders'...

What America needs is an athiest leader. Not someone who believes in stuff from thousands of years ago. Maybe someone who has a more 'modern' way of thinking would be better. I didn't watch the youtube video apart from maybe 10 seconds as it looked boring

My point was not to promote "He's christian so he's good" speech, but more directed to people who say/think he's muslim because his name is Hussein...that's prejudice at its best. My name is Jim, does it mean I'm American? No.
And even if he was muslim...that wouldn't mean he would be a terrorist/integrist/fundamentalist whatever. But many people in the US are affraid of muslims and think they are terrorists.

I'm almost sure that if he hadn't this second name and this skin colour, and was just a random democrat, there wouldn't be so much useless talks everywhere about him and his goals.

I never presented him as Allah. I presented him as God-Emperor of the West. Wholly different story. And yes, I stole worship elements from various religions. Does that make him Allah? No. Not to someone who actually bothers to read.

Well, as for the person who first said that Obama is a muslim, we'll never know. But the one who can spread it like crazy are biased people and it's known the FOX is republican leaning. I mean, they blatantly lean that way while CNN and MSNBC lean a little more neutral even if they are more liberal.

As for the 40k guards and stuff, that's to prevent any attacks on Obama at the ceremony. I guess they fear someone will cap him off.

well that was the growing bet in my area of Australia, many were surprised he lasted this long and it is a shame that the words Terrorist and Muslim are so commonly referred these days but yeah, it honestly only takes a group of people to portray a bad image for the rest.

How much say do you imagine the President has in deciding his level of protection? There would be some input sure but if the Secret Service says lets have 40k and he says na let's aim for 5k then you can imagine its not going to go his way. The best experts in the US would be deciding what level of security there needs to be. It's unfair to blame Obama for people wanting to kill him.

Presidents use bibles from other presidents inaugurations all the time. George H. Bush was sworn in on Washington's bible. Does that mean he thinks he's Washington? Of course not it's a mark of respect to a great man. But for what it's worth Lincoln and Obama have a lot in common. Both were lawyers; both represented Illinois (Obama as a Senator and Lincoln in the House of representatives). The similarities could be listed for quite some time but obviously I think the greatest of which will be what they have both done for the African American community. Lincoln formally freed them and Obama has shown that they can be President of the United States. That's not just a feel good notion, it really does matter.

It wasn't his Grandmother, his Grandmother was White and born in the USA. It was his Aunt who was denied refugee status. Obama hardly knows the woman having seen her only a few times in the last 20 years. He didn't say that she should be deported, he released a statement saying something to the effect that he doesn't know what her status is but what ever the case, the law should be followed. What is so wrong with that?
