A white Goku? That is the problem. He doesn't fit the "Goku" persona. Just not to a me anyways.

I saw Gran Torino with my wife last night. Clint Eastwood is at his best, IMO.

I don't know about sequels. They never beat the original and usually suck so I'm weary of Transformers 2 and Fast & the Furious 4. Gran Torino did catch my eye.

*scratches head* mind you, I'll wait until they comes out on DVD. The movies that have been coming out the past 9 years or so are low in my book. Low in plots, acting, etc except for graphics. The only one that actually took me to the theatres was Dark Knight.

Watched Gran Torino tonight, great move. Utterly hilarious. Clint Eastwood made me laugh even when he was acting tough.

Aside of F&F4 and perhaps Star Trek movie, didn't see anything worth for me to watch in mentionned movies.

You people want to see teh same movies as I want...lol...
for me presonaly teh best should be Transformers 2 and star trek
maybe the wolverine origins and DBZ will be good but it's not worth it to go into the cinema...

Aside of F&F4 and perhaps Star Trek movie, didn't see anything worth for me to watch in mentionned movies.

like I said, aside from wolverine and T2, I am more looking forward to 2010 movies

Well last year I went for:

I'm a Legend - awesome start, decent end. 8.5/10
X-Files 2 - not as good as expected, I think it's disappointment for every X-Files fan compared to first movie. <_< 6.5/10
Batman: The Black Knight - awesome. 9.5/10
The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon - nice movie to see. 8.5/10

Regretting to not have moved for Simpsons Movie, seen it on dvd and it was as good as expected. 8.5-9/10

x-files was awesome, maybe its cause i havnt watched any other xfiles stuff

Batman the DARK knight, i didnt like it cause it concentrated on other things rather then batman, i couldnt tell if the main character was batman, joker or twoface..

mummy 3 sucked, compared to first 2

indiana jones, awesome and comparable to its other movies..

hancock, it was ok untill the twist.. then it kinda sucekd


best 2008 movie would be STARGATE!!!

if stargate atlantis movie comes in 2009, i think it wil be my favourite llol

X-Files in ITSELF was NOT a bad movie. BUT, considering what people like me, who watched a good bunch of X-Files eps, it was totally not XFiles style!

Batman I really loved it, couldn't tell why. All was awesome lol!

Mummy 3 was different (fortunately! Otherwise it would be useless or déjà vu) from first and second, but it was still pretty good.

Indiana Jones didn't see it in theaters, but from a torrent lol, & indeed it was very good. But I liked previous movies though.

I didn't see Hancock so I can't tell.

Stargate? In 2008? You mean Continuum one? Yep. Was nice. Got it in dvd. As well as Stargate original movie.As well as Ark of Truth. And finally as well as Season 1 to 10 of SG1!

lol i kinda DLed all sg seasons.. and watched the movies when they leaked out.

I agree.

I am Legend - Semi decent, not really worth a second watch.
X-Files 2 - Huge letdown, I watched the first one which was really good and then for this one I was like "WTH! WHERE ARE THE ALIENS!!!!"
Batman: The Dark Knight - Best movie in a long time. Completely captures the Joker and Batman's epic struggle for domination.
The Mummy 3 - Joke. Sucked. Although, same type of movie as the first two..

The main point of the Dark Knight was Batman himself but rather the struggle he goes through in his fight against the Joker which is why it's called the Dark Knight. They're all tied together, basicaly, in some way. That's the reason why i like it so much; the emotional conflict, the angst, the complexity of the plot, etc etc. And that's what is missing in almost all of the movies.
