Because the registered ones will be able to control their own details, and for those who are new, then it will automatically staggered based purely upon the time of their registration.

Whats to stop a registered player from deleting their current account and re registering ? That would me this player would start at the same time as the registered users but maintain the PPT of the new users.

Because that would be pointless....

You missed the point to be honest. There are still going to be people who go for the 48 hour option, and new people who join at certain times that WILL miss their ppts, handing a good potential 96turns of income to someone who is around.

Why does no one listen to experience?

The only way you can handle this issue is by giving everyone 1 hour ppt, maybe 2 hours at most. You cannot give everyone of the beta players the option..99% of them will take it, the few that miss it will either make a quiet agreement to leave each other a lone for 48 hours and keep their naq anyway, or they will just farm one another near enough stunting one or two peoples growths unfairly or all of them being stunted and one maybe getting a lead.

new users cannot currently register at all due to a bug with the registration process.

Cant change your race either. I picked replicator for beta but cant change that now.
