He has.
The only reason he increased it again is because DEMI found a bug to ascend again.
It was easier to increase max ascension than revert a single account.

It was indeed a bit of both. I was simply curious, I honestly thought it was some way to ascend again. I didn't know I was exploiting it. I did not want to keep it a secret. I am not a secretive guy. I didn't know what to do.

Clearly one does not understand the concept of bug "exploiting".
Demi didn't not know if the ascension would work. Therefore it is not confirmed that there is a bug.
Demi tested it to see what would happen. It worked, and therefore a bug was confirmed.
The bug was reported via forums immediately, and was brought to Jason's attention at the earliest opportunity at the IRC Meet.
None of the above is bug "exploiting".
If Demi had kept the bug quiet, waited 2 weeks then did the same thing again and reached 22nd ascension then that is bug "exploiting".
