There is something called common sense that many persons leave at the doorstep of this forum. For this question the old saying: "You can't serve two masters" apllies.
And while it is within the realm of possibilty on a game....Yet It is so unlikely it deserves a laugh (but not a sab)
As for the 3Billion, I have yet to hear an explination.
As for being new to the game and not knowing anything,
I recall reading as much as possible about the game before I made my first post, and then tried to make it as least based on facts as possbile... Something about whether or not I should come out of the starting gates guns blazing or sit back and build up my UP(? I will have to find it) more as a 'hi i'm new' than even a question.
I did not post asking about something that seems self evident, and I did not (I don't think) Post a Q. that had already been aswered.
I at least made a (puny)attempt at research, and sometimes it seems as if some of the new n00bs haven't.
Sometimes insults and derison are deserved, sometimes sabbing is deserved. Just cause this is virtual doesn't mean you can park your brain outside the modem.

You have helped many, many pple and the forum would be 100x less if you didn't do what you do.
However, let's agree to disagree. One of my bosses once told me that, 'someone only knows what they know'. Insulting someone because they didn't do a search before posting does noting but make someone feel bad. Granted, s/he may learn the hard way to avoid related things, but I don't think it's the lesser of two evils.
My first post was titled, "Acronyms and commanding oneself", and I wrote:
"Hi,
I come across the acronym "SS" all the time. What does that mean? I've tried searching for it, but there was nothing.
Another are instances where someone is their own officer, and they have other officers. What's that about?

I too, did a search and tried to learn I could before posting a question. Mainly because I don't like asking for help. If I've got to do something I'd rater get there on my own steam than rely on someone/something else. The most recent question I posted on here about SS
(my mistake when typing this...not SS but in fact PPT) I searched for, asked my commander, send a PM to Psi Kiya Trist, waited over a week to get replies(in total), and then posted when pple didn't understand what I was asking.
I think ideally it would be great if everyone searched and studied the game before posting, but expecting that of everyone might just be setting pple up for a "beautiful letdown", becasue pple only 'know what they know'.
I think that with assistance from you, Xeno and ppl elike you, sanity can be maintained for many pple on this forum.
