I am amazing

see no farm fest for hippy and i'm willing to put money on him finishing top 10

100k main UU says top 5
HAHA You would have to lay odds, say 2 to 5, then I might take that bet!!
(That would make Hippy the "favorite" to finish Top 5!)

we should start a betting program for Q at the start of each wave with each person getting certain odds and everyone betting on em

it should work like last era ranks 1-4 would be 1:2 ,and 5-10 1:4 and any1 below top 10 would be 1:10 if they came first . this would be for the win . for the top 5 we take the odds and time it by 1.5 eg. if i put 100 k on s1eepy to win and he does then i get 200 k but if i put 100 k for top 5 and he does then i get 150 k

Sounds much too complicated for a simple wager... but the idea has merit for sheer laughs

At this point we dont need Odds or anything to show that the Era is already practically over.
Farm Fest seemed to be so much more critical this Era than any of the last few that I've played. I am trying to run ballpark numbers but in about 4 or 5 days at the current growth of the Top accounts who quickly achieved over 10K UP the first few days, that with the increased amount of turns is draining INactive NAQ available, and with limited turn growth storage (2000?), we have achieved the perfect Quantum Era:
- The Top accounts have already won, the other accounts can only spend the whole Era attempting to compete for spots 20 and below, and there will be NO feeding this Era.
- Nor will there be any competition, so lets just all admit what is obvious and call this Era finished except for playing out the next 80 or so days... HAHAHA
Seriously, mathematically, about 90% of the accounts are already eliminated (sorry you guys, but you dont matter already Ranks 300 and below), and there will not be enough NAQ available to catch up unless we ask the Top 15-20 UP accounts to just freeze their growth for about 14-17 days...
And really, we are going to HAVE to ask Admin to increase all the Fields in Quantum, because at the exponential growth we have so far for the few days of this Era for the Top accounts, we are going to need like, a Kajillion, bajillion digits in some of the Fields to handle the required Attack and Defense numbers, and MUCH smaller fonts so when we are getting farmed by the Quadrillion, Kajillion, bajillion Attack levels 5 or 6 weeks from now, the logs can fit onto my PC screen.
OK, I am being a smart-azz about that, but seriously... The Era is already almost over or near over. I prayed to my Gods, they looked down at me and said:
"AFFIRMATION, Do NOT Donate, DO not bother... YOUR ERA IS OVER!!"
(Appropriately spooky God-like music playing in the background...)

Hmm yeah i missed the farm fest

in the 24 hours before the first market reset (with the extra 5k turns or whatever i had because market had opened) I farmed my arse off, only hitting the best farms each turn.
I was aiming for a 999x just before market reset but i only managed 800x i think

...maybe 850x
Then with my new 12.5k UP i made myself selfCO (increasing UP to 15k total) and used my weekly for the 15k. This put me equal with the top players who had had 10k+ UP from the start because they had used their first MT for the extra turns instead of UU

Then I got farmed for a day or 2 cos i had no naq for stats, but saved my turns and then farmed enough for a big defense

. then used this weeks MT for another 15k UU, giving me a sexy army size and therefore sexy income!
And this is how you catch up without doing the farm fest

I see the strategy involved, and I understand that I need to farm, farm, farm to make up for the deficit, but the pages of inactives have just been barren of decent NAQ amounts since I started playing. Having to work and be on the road all weekend, I know sometimes shizzle just happens due to RL, but even last Era I missed the first 2/3rds of Farm Fest, but once I started farming I was able to see gains.
The inactives are being depleted, or at least it appears that they are more so since this weekend. If my average NAQ per farm hit does not increase appreciably, I do not see my ability to grow staying competitive. My point is that I believe there are just too many AT's out there.
Just out of curiousity, HE, what was your average NAQ per hit when you managed the 800-850x UP upgrades?
Because I burned up 2400-4000 turns and with the NAQ amounts available to farm (short of throwing away NAQ hits on ridiculous low amounts) I was only able to manage about 200-250x UP upgrades using up most of my AT's?? That tells me that either I really, really suck at farming... (possible, yes... HAHA) or my average NAQ per farming hit was WAY, Way lower than yours during the period you burned up your AT's, thats all. I prefer to hope that mine were less productive by far, due to decreased amounts of available NAQ because of excessive amounts of AT's available already this Era.
But, the alternative, is that I just suck...

Currently inactives are worth 40-50m per hit? And growing fast. That's half as good as the hits from the fest. Farm fest is always going to be advantagous to those who catch it.. It's always been that way, the farms will get better over next week, and you should be able to farm lots of naq, if you time your spending wisely, you can catch up.
High empty farmed more naq than me from farm fest. But I got a higher UP, becase he spent too early. You could catch up in the same way.. HE spent too early that day, maybe we have spent too early this rlera?
It's all about timing. Do your best to keep close to the top, then there will probably be a time you can make a move and catch up. This wave is far from over, although TCC seem to have had a v impressive start

I put out PMs to other players, and I think I am starting to understand my problem. It is all about my timing of when I am able to get online within the boundaries of my RL, and how that relates to the availability of NAQ with the Inactives. Everyone (My CO, other players) tell me they are farming for 30-35 mil per hit, but, when I am online normally (like just within the last half hour) I can start at page 15 and scan all the way to page 75, and not find a single account with more than 20-25mil NAQ out!!
Last night, thanks to a PM from Heaven Seeker I got online at 2-3AM EST my timezone, and WHAMMO, there were tons of farms with 33-35 mil NAQ out. You can see I made a move in ranks today, thanks to being up in the middle of my normal sleep time, so I can see where people would think I was GD crazy for complaining...
But, my problem still remains, my RL and job dictate what times I can be online normally, AND, during those times the farms are bled dry. 50-60% of the inactives this morning show 4-7 mil NAQ out, the best 5-10% show 14-16 mil out right now. If I go burn all the turns I can, I am only farming at 50% efficiency compared to the rest as far as the info you guys are providing me. It is just basically crappy timing for me, and I cant see me being able to sustain staying up at 2-3am every night to overcome this issue right now. So, knowing what I know (thanks to everyone's patience and info) I just have to bide my time and see how it plays out.
For now, I will stop wailing and gnashing my teeth, rending my garments, and being Chicken little... HAHAHA
(This is pretty weird though, and I still stick to my thoughts that it is the excessive amount of AT's causing my problems...)

So YOU are the one who depleted all the Inactive farms!!! HAHAHA
About an hour and a half ago (when I was home and trying to farm) I was lucky to farm for a 23 mil per average...
Now that I am at work, if you are saying that the farms are getting back up to higher levels, then you are just proving what my point was...
But, I can't risk losing a 75K per year job to use my work PC for getting onto a gaming website.
I do appreciate you rubbing it in though... HAHAHA
Here, I have an open wound, go ahead, pour the salt on it my former CO!
