I don't think anyone really wants to go into individuals though certainly names could be used as examples. I believe Draleg is pointing here to the entire policy.

there is no policy of treating people differently if they spend $ or not.
each banning is looked at individually - on the issues at the root of the banning.
sometimes bans are lifted, after a time (ie suspension). sometimes not.
bannings where it is not explicitly clear the person willingly broke rules are most often teh ones unbanned at a later date.

i have said this before. i will say it again : the game comes first. before any single player. now -if i treated people differently based on some formula, would i really be serving the game? on that note, i am smart enough to know that blatently favoring a few over the many would mean less $ for the game (as that would be rightly viewed as unfair) -- so even if you imply 'self interest' i still would not do what you are implying.

did I unban any one specific account? maybe... but not for any reasons you mention, i can assure you
