Security not what it was. Now replaced by toy soldiers and toy turrets.
Looks threatening, is not. Northern Ireland belongs where its people say it does. History is irrelevant. Look at Kosovo. Different story, same morale.

Killing is a drug to form of people. Each kill gives rush. More kills, more rush. May just be sociopaths together, "Real IRA". Gathered to kill under guise of freedom fight.

Do Northern Irishmen even want to separate? Answer makes "Real IRA" either valid, or sociopathic sect in dire need of judgement.

The issue is just not that simple, there are people who live in NI who want it to remain part of the UK & there are also those who want it to be part of Eire.

Hey thats what got it all started and its why the issue simply cant be solved by asking the population to choose, as you will end up with one side feeling left out and willing to be even more violent.

I don't think its gonna kick off again. Nothing major has happened since that attack. And although a poll showed 30% of the south supported this action (I question such poll) they will never see the level of support they enjoyed in the 60-80s and even early 90s.

These will be sporadic attacks that are more criminal that terrorist.

Will the North join South one day? I think its more than likely. How long? Who knows.
