you got it wrong their dude. the elite have the modern tech. the poor starve.
NK is proven to be hostile and dangerous. they have a nuke. they are run by a dictator. if they get ICBM tech they are the sort of country who would use it.
any war against them would be messy. the outcome would be beyond doubt, but the suffering and destruction would be unimaginable. someone mentioned the mine field. its fairly easy to clear a path. the UK has vehicles specifically for this purpose which can clear a line through mines in minutes. however, it wouldnt surprise me if there are nuclear mines in key areas. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Peacock
china doesnt work with the international community as it should to stop NK's march towards a confrontation with the world. its not only the west who has issues with a nuclear enabled and chaotic military dictatorship.
NK is bad news. war with the west is bad news for them. they dont care about the plight of their people therefore they are way more likely to start a conflict than other nations. can only hope things dont escalate
although i hope japan gets sony to shoot down the rocket.
