Saw an ad for it pretty much everyday for about a month on another game I played. Finally, I just clicked it out of curiosity.

I was also looking for a Stargate game. And came across this game and have been here ever since.

I saw a forum thread on scifi.com debating whether The Order or TAA was the better alliance. Good times.

I saw a banner add somewhere and said "wow a stargate game"

2 of my mates chemicalbrother and corkscrew were having a *who has a better account* fight..and after wards they showed me the game and i really liked it so i joined.

I blame Draleg ...

he send mail to his friends stating he just started this game and needed some help by clicking recruitment link, clicked it for him, believe it was Q link, and started playing from there, only started playing main after 2 or 3 Q rounds ...

Everyone who's anyone knows that Cry of War was banned ingame as being a multi of ~ETERNAL~DARKNESS~ (aka Darkheroboy). Also, anyone who's an Admin or GM would know that ~ETERNAL~DARKNESS~ and Eternal Serenity shared the same IP address on forums and is infact the same person.

For my case, an ad on amazon.com about a stargate mmorpg brought me there (didn't have any clue what an mmorpg was, took a week or two before joining as I had no clue, joined three weeks after release of game).

But keeping on topic, my best mate told me about this game one day at work. That's how I found out about it. As for the forum, I can't quite remember. It definitely wasn't via my mate, I think I probably just found it on my own and realised how useful it is and how it is actually a PART of the game.

A System Lord kidnapped me and forced me to play this MMORPG game .

Although I hadn't seen the whole series yet but I love StarGate SG-1, So I wondered if theres any StarGate Video Games out there, besides the Super Nintendo version that is. So I've Google something like "StarGate Video Games" and I've saw this MMORPG while searching. I was expecting something with more grafixs and sound, but I give it a chance, I began to get addicted to this game ever since then . After playing the Main/Ascended server for a while, the BattleCorp game has been launched into Beta, since it was more of a game that I was expecting in a StarGate Game, I've tried that server to. I'm not going to sign myself on anymore games now, I think these 3 servers is a hand full.

I think I was playing StarGateWars for around 2 Years now, It's kinda hard to believe how long I've been playing this game though.

looking for a FPS found this ...dunno what got me into it but the fact it had Motherships and a proper ranking system got me to stay.

Then i got my 1st Roleplay was with Vishnu telling me my God was Disappointed with me for hitting his Officer that basically pushed me enough toplay more and more

one of my mates in work was playing it, seen him a few times online and eventually curiosty got the better of me and now very addicted !
