The game is what you make of it - if you think there is no honor here, then I think that reflects more on how you play it, than how others do.

I believe honor here ingame is just what Magni and JT stated. I do my best to protect and stick by my Officers and Alliance, (as some of you have found out). I also give ppl the benefit of the doubt when possible. Being in the Military and having now served 5 combat tours, I know how deep a bond war can build. The Band of Brothers bond is real, ingame or real life. I've made some very close friends because of SGW and that will out last any game.....

Enjoyment is playing the game and having fun.

Honour is wanting the other guy to have fun too.

Well, I think that notion of honor requires also:
If a friend sets a bunch of brokers with you for ascending, that she/he can set it in return of nothing (1 naq or a single AttackTurn), and that you will return said ressources without any problem, no matter the amount of said ressources.
It's not all for honor, but I think being honest and trustful is required to be an honorable person.
Cheaters, stealers and scammers lack or even have no honor.

If I mention it, it's because I don't think I've seen it mentionned already in this topic.

I think you have given us the answer m8..honesty, integrity. Listen, you can be the bad guy and be honest about it..and play with integrity,,you can be the good guy etc or somewhere in between and it is honorable. Honmesty and integrity equate to honor.

Honor is when mortals accept their God's orders/desires

Now the subjects in TTF, leave out trillions of Naq for your Gods  (your God is pleased with the hits so far today)

you don't drink scotch you sip it enjoy the fine flavour of the scotch tasting the years that have been dedicted to brewing it thats the real honour and that how the game should be played
40 year old whiskey is the best

Says, someone that takes Naq from gullible people and then ascends killing their investment, I will take your assessment with a grain of salt, since you also lack any honor code or base 8)
