Change the 3 hour login?!

Personally, I find it astonishing that anyone actually plays SGW for three continuous hours. But that's just me.

If this had happened to me, I'd have been a little peeved too.

But I think the security the 3 hour session limit offers against script and bot cheats is important, and I think a prominent warning would compromise that. I'm no expert, but if you could write a macro to play SGW for you, I'm pretty sure you could rewrite it to a) log you out and in again when the warning appears on the page or b) simply bank/train/spend/broker your Naq away before the session ends.

Just my thoughts.

I dont think everyone who says "You spend 3 hrs on SGW!!!!!" really understand. I get online, check all my games and then go to forums but keep SGW running in the background. I even watch a movie on TV but keep SGW running and when I go get a drink or go to the bathroom I bank, maybe turn farm during a commercial. so its very easy to get bit by the 3 hr logout 2 or 3 times on a lazy sunday, but actually only have 1 hr of SGW playtime in. I'm not sitting here for 9 hrs straight on SGW.

@ Lore. Now I think a little more, it is a pretty redundant feature. There's a way to get around anything nowadays; and there's a way to detect just about anything. My evidence really disproves my own argument.

@S.S. I actually do the same thing. I probably never made that connection because I've never reached the whole three hours in one login. I usually get distracted by a football game, forum thread or brightly colored object and inadvertently leave SGW idle for >30mins and have to log back in anyhow.

I support the suggestion however I don't believe you should get the naq back as you take it out of your bank at your own risk. Who's to say you would not have been hit in the intervening seconds between unbanking it and using it? (Sorry to be a hard ass there)

What I'd really like to know is how you lot manage to spend 3 hours straight on the game. Go out n live life lol.

Fair comment and justified, it was that quick that you could be right! Though, I am sure, that it took 10x as long to log back in then it did to simply window switch! I will ask the question as I do not think it was fair, doing it my way has never failed before.

With reference to Lore and SS' comments, I do the same thing, I get to work - bit of relief stargatewars and find something to do, come back and bank...do something else etc! I guess those who do not understand this are at school or do not work on a computer all day. Unfortunately I do! (I am my own boss, so anybody who is trying to report that for a laugh PM me for the main email )

The problem is not the naquahdah, sure I think it is unfair, I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the game owners, I do not know the complexities of creating a warning, but I know by internet banking if your inactive for 2 mins, you get a prompt. If they can do it, why can't anybody else? I am entitled to my opinion and as a commited player of 4 years, I believe I am entitled to an opinion?

What if they programmed it to save the time you logged in right below the in game clock. then you can occasionally look down and see if your near 3 hours. that doesnt sound like it would be too hard to program though i could be wrong.

yes its not 500b per 1m army size it depends on how much tnaq the person has out
that decides your max hit

i hit a 150m army guy yesterday and got 4.5t off him because he had 15t out

i got all the naq in end lol
