A dead race who have ruined their own physical bodies can teach no one how to properly ascend. You should know this since your Asguard.

The asgard may be closer to ascension than most other races, but they still have not achieved their goal. We differ greatly from these creatures.
It is folly to not to listen when one speaks the truth Lore. Childish accusations and petty insults must be left behind as i have told you before.
Your race is closer to dying than any other. Your power is gone and your servants have been disillusioned.
Leave you past behind, lock away your memories and walk down the true path to ascension.

Then you must be the wisest, because you truely know nothing if you think the System Lords are a dieing race. We System Lords still exterminate more of the lesser races then any other.
