Not really harder to mass... it will just take more weapons and troops to do the job, so maybe more losses but. I think it would've been easier to edit the losses ratio? I guess we will just have to wait and see how it turns out, either once Beta is re-opened or once it is released in Main.

haha, how does that mean not harder to mass? more troops and weapons needed for the masser which means harder for me.

well, the ability to use 1/5 of the defenders power and overwhelm them eventually is a bit weird... i don't know many army's that would do much damage against someone 5x larger.
You can already do damage at 5x larger, maybe this'll bring it down to about 4-3x.

 the response to that is simple muffafuffin, high powered rifle/explosives
+ Spartans were primarily defending, so, according to your logic, 300 super defenders should be able to hold off 2-3k attackers :P

Well... something which never ever seemed to be counted in is the fact that the defenders know the surroundings and can take advantage of it... let's say that they defend on a chokepoint. That would tell why the defenders are getting that better :P

- BTW, I guess Jason attempts to make massing more difficult. Would certainly slow down the random massers... the game favours the attackers big time atm. -

yeah, the attacker advantage has been around for a long time, yet you would thing the defenders would almost always have an advantage. There's been many threads on the imbalance.

All I have to say, if some of these changes I`ve heard about are in the ball park of true is...

sweet jesus

It`s one thing to try and balace the thing somewhat but boy, this is gonna take it to the other extreme. So I`m not exactly sure how the "boredome" will be alleviated heh...

Seriously, admin, stop, take a breather and look at it from a broader perspective.

You`re piling on misery of an update on a misery of an update, just in the other direction lol. Think about how your updates stack for a second.

What happens when 23 (25?) time ascended people build defences in this game? They have 53% AB on every hit alone. They slap a 5-10tril def up after your update, you mightaswell just park them on free PPT for the next year lol. Atleast as far as 98.75% of the game is concerned.
I`m honestly at a loss what logic is behind this, save catering to a tiny vocal segment of the games population... But this is a bit much, isn`t it?

Attack supremacy just started to counterbalance the AB stuff that will take a normal guy a year+ to achieve due to absurd cooldowns if he cheats, nvm plays str8, and you`re gonna reverse that around for 75%?

You`re making SGW extremely "top heavy". I take it you gave up on attracting new people and shifted to pleasing the old guard that pays the bills. Lets hope the wagon dont tip over in one of the bends then, shall we.

I dont get it lol, I really dont. I thought this stalemate was earning you money. :-D

People.. you are acting like idiots.
Get a grip!

What you know at this point does not constitute grounds for all your current cringing and crying. You are worried that you do not understand? Well, derrr. You know about 10% of what's changing, and of that 10% you can not even be sure.
Unless you have functioning Beta accounts?

@Brdavs, if people can afford 10T defense so easily, then affording the 2T attack needed to damage it is only 1/5 of the effort still. (maybe 1/4 if what i said is an approximation to the power balance). Also, attack is more readily usable, then defense. Defense, you wait, attack, you go after them

If numbers are right, make that about 1/9 ;) *Wishes FF told more*

Why 1/9th? I'm assuming the damage ratio is still 20% (but could be changed to 25%)
