It was a sunny Monday, I had nothing better to do, so I created an account on quantum server. This was long time ago....

anything that greatly affects the market prices and such is awesome lol like the outset of the server wars and such, just see the prices in resources skyrocket was amazing.
its a good tactic. but i agree with duderanch it could've worked when there were hardly any empires and allies around.

Now the first few hours of the server war when all the mercs were bought up and you couldn't restock attack mercs, that was a good strategy, but only works in the short term and you'd have to be crazy dedicated about it.

well I've used variations on this idea to fit the situation. First wave, jaseb's cuz (his name escapes me at the mo) was going around massing all the big defences. At that u could literally mass a 100 bill plus defence with 1 weapon, which had the added effect of killing uu too. Our tactic to combat that was train all uu to attack but that's going off on a tangent. So anyways he was pissing all the builders off. So I decided to use him. iron2047 had an account ingame but wasn't really playing for rank. I asked him to rename his account to the other guy's name with the added 1 at the end. And then create a fake forum id praising his supposed 'mentor' and death to EtL, Omega and the rest of the big guys. So basically he massed the **Filtered** out of all my competitors, who took their revenge on the original 'masser', keeping him and his supposed 'pupil' busy. Of course I had to fund the guy but it was well worth it. I lost peanuts compared to the rest.

On to q second wave, Bahamut and Zaphor were FAR FAR ahead, either through being helped or SS or whatever. Basically no one had a chance. So I had one of the brothers J to join Zaph's alliance and Fox to join Bahamut's alliance. Manipulating both alliances we ended up causing them to mutually annihilate each other, leaving me victorious at the end.

I think the funniest one was when a few ex prominent TA guys exploited a huge bug I've talked about in the past. So I had a guy change his name to CHEAT KILLER, and some of us funded him. The best part of it though was that I had him approach _Apophis__ (enemy of alot of people and well known cheat) to fund him majorly AND to admit what he was giving the naq for. So then CHEAT KILLER went on and massed these guys, I believe one of the accounts was BrotherCrit and boasting about it on the forums. After the masses, he then 'posted' the private message from _Apophis__ claiming him as his only supporter, leading to brothercrit eventually helping me to destroy Apophis' account.

I wonder if the forum posts still exist or have they been cropped?

I always found the past to be intresting, I remeber going to the last page in general just to read random stuff and coming acrosss a thread where someone was talking about crushing this annoying little upstart named "Enter The Lion"



I read alot of the "Esker" threads too, but he was gone just before I came to TGW.

pay attention to the last bit of my post..damob, that was jaseb's cousin..and damob1, who actually did most of the damage was iron, basically being directed by me. lol
