I wouldn't really judge the activity of the forum, on the posting rate of the server war thread.
Big proportion of those in it, avoid it

alot of big characters have left or become quiet recently!
but its still nice, i enjoy it!

Seriously though, it's exactly what happens, and I've seen it happen in every online game I've ever played.
The part I've always hated, was waiting to see if they were going to make it back again.
