if it did that, the whole game would come to one big stop for a minute, cause every one would realize that they are not really moving ahead, but back, cause of the lost of resource from massing. Probably 85% of them.

It's not impressive to have 20K outgoing attacks when all you do is randomly mass people and make up an excuse.
