I can confirm this bug now.

Someone hit me with 2% if my defense, and i lost 3992 super defenders, 3992 defense mercs AND 3992 Covert agents.
My weapons were undamaged, but this means you can mass people no matter WHAT their defensive capabilities are (since you just need to kill the defenders, until you do damage to weapons)
