Its hard finding a decent image of the movie version soundwave, so I had to make due. I could tweak the colours if you want me to?

Ive spent about 3 hours playing with this on and off, it was turning out to be less and less for the naq and more for the fun I was having creating it then mixing in new elements.

True its good, but there is a fatal flaw where I think I have used too much light

That looks awesome! If you could lower the lighting a bit, it's a bit too bright for my taste, but I am sure you can tweak it. Maybe incorporate a slight hint of purple, to further strengthen the Decepticon edge (D's logo is pretty much purple, hence my associating purple with Decepticons, for whoever was wondering why the purple obsession..). I love the Decepticon logo in line with the text, excellent touch!

I wasn't too happy with it, so I made some adjustments -

The second one has a few improvements over the first one, indeed. Very nice, I love Soundwave's satellite form, so that is a big plus indeed. If you could tweak the text a bit to be more legible, that would be awesome.


I've looked around as well, and it is really hard to find good renders of Soundwave. So I am really impressed with what you guys have made! I'll make my decision after a few more days of consideration; really great to see so many helping hands/crafty salesmen.
