If you look at the log's he provided it shows that both planets where taken between 03:30 and 03:40 gametime, he then says that he tried to retake them around 7 gametime.
I hope the problem is solved soon.

Exactly, there was less then 4 hrs between the taking andf the attempted retaking. You can't cover a stolen planet with merlin or PPT for 12 hrs, and I used the link in the attack report so there is no chance of hitting the wrong planet.
I don't expect an answer either ~r8~, but I'll atleast try. Maybe Jason will one day open his eyes, I just hope its not to late.

They still have the planet on their account, it shows up in their planet list, and a beacon shows its location as well.
@ Tetris,,, Good Luck to you, Honestly. Maybe you can accomplish something I couldn't.

I'll speak to Jason about this on Wednesday and see what he says this message actually means and why it happens.
That's the best I can do for now.

Well I couldnt take the planet, it never let me. It happened on two different people. attacks made at different times, but the recovery tries were made in the same turn.

Best of luck with it. Haven't had a problem myself, but haven't had planet iteration in a while
Just a thought, was your MS home (silly question, but worth an ask)
Merged

at around 7:00 game time I logged in and went to reclaim atleast one of my planets. When I used the link in the attack logs I got the message about "Your at the right house but no one is answering" and it would not allow me to reclaim my planet. i tred on both attackers and got the same response. I assumed they had been abandoned so I sent my MS out in an attempt to reclaim one of them since admin stated you chances of finding your own abandoned planet was increased in such cases.
You were posted as a priority planet target in our forums when we noticed your duals were in the open on the Labour Day weekend, with little to no defence.
We took both duals and since they were valuable planets, decided to take the risk and immediately build substantial defences. Most people dont bother building large defences because the owner can take the planet back within 12 hours. The game allows you to build a defence immediately but not Merlin or Platform for 12 hours or rename for 24 hours.
My fellow Master Planet thief Orpheus carried out a similar exericse a few days ago when a friend of mine slept in and forgot to merlin his dual. Only in his case, he decided to invest in a lot of naq to increase his fleet power so he could mass it back from Orpheus. They spent quite a few hours struggling to retain ownership of the planet. Eventually persistance paid off and my friend recovered his dual within the 12 hour period.
I agree that the message you recieved could be improved and hope this helps to clear up the mystery.

As Robe stated if you don't have sufficient fleet power to counter raw planet def (+ platform which isn't relevant in this case) you get a message but i can't tell for sure which one.

Well if it's the knocking on door one, then that would explain it I guess.

I thought Door Knocking meant the planet was gone, not defended..
